New Equipment at the gym

well let me rephrase that we got entirely brand new cardio equipment for every piece, but can you guess how many pieces of actual gym equipment we got??? NONE not one damn thing, but we now have tons of stair steppers for bitches to hold themselves up on the side rails and "walk". :curse::curse::curse: why cant they spend any damn money on actually equipment like maybe another leg piece to add to the one leg press.... sorry had to rant

And here I always thought I was the only one judging these people... nice to see I am not the only one who realizes this is *&@$*&#*$%$# pointless!!!!!
 
Oh and I know what you mean, My gym needs a new smith machine baaaaaaaaaaaad.... one side seems to hesitate at times... its no good with real weight on there. And actually, they took out two plate load hammer strength machines last week... hmmmmm Which I guess is ok cause I was tired of these guys putting three plates on each side helping each other get it up, short stroking it, then assisting to set it back down and bouncing around like a couple of baboons doing mating rituals... those people bug me... look now you have me ranting lol
 
True the pop culture has taken the gym industry and everyone wants cardio. The fools. Many gyms are now about 70/30 favoring cardio over free weights. My place is opposite. In fact its more like 80/20. The challenge me and the staff has is explaining to people that weights many times preferable to cardio. That MMF (momentary muscle failure, not male/male/female LOL) will burn many times more fat than walking on a treadmill. I see these folks (lot of women) walking mindlessly like hamsters on a flywheel on treadmills, and they may loss a few pounds, most of it muscle.

Cardio in moderation is key. But the bastardizing and commercialization of the gym business has most brain washed. Stupid is as stupid does
