if customs has reason to look through and sees the illegal nikes then they will more then likely seize them and send him a letter saying so. If he doesnt recieve anything and the doctor is trustworthy of his feet then i would say just take the shoes. Just my 2 shoelaces. haha

So you are saying that if the Nikes arrive at my friends, he should take them? The gentleman sending them is supposed to be a full fledged doc, but from another country, althoughhe says he can practice in US.

if he trusts the doc and you dont get a letter then i would. Does he make your friend sign to take delivery? if not then take it unless somebody is making him sign then tell him just to say he didnt order anything return to sender.

LE wasn't born yesterday. I've seen posts that say Return to Sender doesn't work anymore. Also a signature is not required.

What is required is that you take possession, no signature required.
And no matter what that doctor says, in the eyes of the law a valid medical prescription is required. Valid in this case means that the item being prescribed can only be imported if the medical treatment was started in the country where you are receiving the item from. Valid also means there had to be a physical examination involved.

So if your friend didn't go to the country to have this treatment started and/or never has seen this doctor in person, the prescription in the eyes of LE doesn't exist.

Also either you get a seizure letter from Customs or a controlled delivery. Not both

if the pack wasnt late at all then i would still just take it. Do you know how many illegal packs go through customs everyday. Unless it was a monster order i dont think i would worry that much. From here on out order your nikes domestic though. just my opinion.

No pack. I think the online person I met was f ing with me. I dont do well with that. I am paranoid enough with the fact that these high performance Nikes are harder and harder to get. Oh well. Lesson learned.
