What do you think is the best way to grow ??? What kind of diet ? What type of workout ? What kind of cycle ? Do you believe in bulking or staying pretty lean ? Or do you actully get smaller in the offseason and grow into the show, like Levorne ???

Lets hear it !!!

I have always thought it should be bulker then cutter in terms of diet, cycle, etc... But I am very interested to here other opinions on this as well

Well I'll start since everyone is being shy !!! :D

Nutrition - Diet should be high protein around 1.25-1.5g per pound of body weight, and carbs should be pretty high around 1.5 to 2 grams per pound of body weight...I believe you should get in some healthy fats to probably around .25 g per pound of body weight...You should eat clean, but not so clean that you cant grow on..Or put on lean muscle mass...Honestly, I dont believe you can grow just lean muscle, some of it is going to be water and fat...But in time you will lean out if you eat clean enough....The bigger or more muscle you have the more junk you can get away with...Why, because your metabolism is so fast from all that muscle...Also, if you lean and always stay lean again you can get away with more junk (with junk I mean like burgers and fatter proteins, not candy bars, cakes, ect) If your metabolism is slower than you have to really watch the carb intake and maybe go with more of a pro/fat type of diet ot grow on, but again you have to include some carbs around .5-1.0g per pound of body weight...Everyone is different and it is up to you to find out what diet will work best for your body...But over time and I mean it takes a long time (I have been doing this for 20 years and I just feel like im starting to get it down) you will learn how to grow and stay pretty lean..(with some abs showing)

Ok thats nutrition, next up later is training then gear ...

In my mind an offseason cycle has always been something that will allow me to put on the most size without worrying about water retention or other sides that aren't desirable in pre-contest prep/cutting cycle. For a bulker I like dbol as it allows you to see results quickly, helps the joints by increasing water retention, etc... I also like a longer acting test say enth or cyp however this is only due to the decreased frequency of shots needed when taking these. I'll also throw in some deca, eq, etc...with a bulker. I don't do nearly as much cardio on a bulker, but in the same hand I don't cut it out all together for a couple of reasons...I want to keep my fat gain as minimal as I can and some amount of cardio is necessary for this, I also don't want to lose my cardiovascular shape all together.

With a cutting cycle I would go with a quicker acting test like prop or suspension b/c I don't get as much water retention from these and they act much quicker than enth or cyp. I stay away from the dbol b/c I want to lose the water weight as well as the fat, but keep as much muscle as possible. I like tren in both bulk and cut, but especially in a cutter. I like winny here as well. Clen and ECA's are great here as well.

I think IGF or HGH go great with either.

There are lots of other compounds that can be used in either one, but for me...these are the basic ones that I build around depending on what I want out of it.

diet is key no matter what.

i swear by massive amounts of good flax oil and PB...... all those good fats do a body good

I think the thing that surprises the most people i know is that I take loads of time off and feel like i grow my best when im resting obviously, i usualy hit it hard a for a couple months then ill lay low for a few days to a week and half then hit it again and i do this several times a year

I agree with this very much, 1.5 protein and 1 to 1.5 carbs, and just whatever fats i eat during the day and ill supplement some fish oil, and other efa's.

do a heavy cycle and eat whatever I can get my fucking hands on...
by nature I'm boarder line ectomorph. so I can get away with this:thumbsup:

eating and putting on weight is the hardest thing for me hands down:moon:

I'm still trying to figure out what diet works best for me. I already know I can't get away with a bunch of carbs, so I'm trying Palumbo's style of bulking pretty soon. I'm starting with: protein - 1.5g/lb; carbs - 1g/lb; and fat - .5g/lb. As far as gear goes, I'll be on test, eq, d-bol, gh, and am going to give slin a whirl. Can't wait to see how this all pans out!
