glad to see she's getting better

recovery is NEVER an easy thing

Thanks bro, she's almost back to normal other than her legs still being pretty sore. So that's awesome. I'm glad to see her getting back to normal. I still I could have taken her place as I hate seeing someone else in pain.

Damn, her head hit the windshield hard. Skull typically loses to windshield. Looks like she's lucky it wasn't a lot worse. Lucky to be alive. Count your blessing.

Yea it was shocking that she didn't have any brain trauma or bleeding. The concussion was the worst of it. If you look she kind of hit it lower than center and I would think that it would be a bit harder the closer you get to the edge which if true makes it even more amazing that she was literally able to walk away from this. When I pulled up to the accident she was moving and walking around as if nothing happened. I know adrenaline plays a big factor in that, but to my knowledge (she can't totally remember) she wasn't unconscious for more than a few seconds.

The guy who witnessed the accident stopped and she said when he came up and opened the door he just kept saying "please don't be dead, please don't be dead." So I guess it looked pretty bad for someone to think that was a possibility, but by looking at the Jeep I know it doesn't look good. She was awake when he came to the door so I'd guess that if she was unconscious right after impact it couldn't have been more than 5-10 seconds by the time he got to the car

She's fine now. She's just depressed and mentally upset. She literally hasn't done anything the past week. I think she's only been out of the house once.

The worst part is that her grandmother just had to go to the hospital because she had a seizure and come to find out that she had a brain tumor and needed emergency surgery. I guess the tumor was on the personality side of her brain and she's not talking very well or looking good physically, but she made it through surgery a couple days ago. So needless to say the past week has been terrible for her whole family. I've only got one grandparent left and know what she's going through, but this came out of nowhere. It was literally one of those things where you are fine one day and then fighting death the next.

But thanks for asking bro, it means a lot
