Yep I know that guy!!!irritates the hell out of me.LOL!I also can't stand if I'm doing an exercise,say bench press and someone comes up and ask"What ya working today chest?"DUH!!!!!!or when someones lifting and ask "am I lifting enough".LMAO!I got tired of explaining that it's all relative and now I just add on two more 45's and say"Nope if you were a real man you'd be doing this"And last but not least is the asshole who doesn't no how to wipe his own sweat up!!!!AAAAHHHHHH!Man i don't want to sit in your nasty sweat!clean it up for God's sake!!!
as you all no i worked at a gym my worst pet peeve ever is people not racking their weights i cant tell you what id like to do to those people lol we all do it every now and then not thinking but people that leave their trash and dbells or like 5 plates on the hack squat piss me off to no end. what if a chick went over there and watned to use the hacks what the fuck shes gotta pick up 500 pounds worth of weight not. i also hate people that use more then 2 machines at a time i mean come on superset is ok 3 sets on diff. is one thing but when people just go around and use like 5 machines at one time when there are only one of that machine really pisses me off too. You should be lifting hard enough your gonna need a minute in between that exercise and the next. and my all time worst pet peeve is when someone isnt using a bench or other machine for the purpose but to set shit on and you ask them man are you using this can i grab it from you and they say no im using it then they pick up the damn dumbells and start doing front raises man that pisses me off.

Big bump Gbart.I broke my big toe because some idiot didn't take the weights off of the smith machine.I was taking the 45's off and didn't see the smaller 25lb in front of one.OOOOOOCCCHHHH!!!But it didn't help that I was watching a girl on the stairstepper either.But atleast I made it to the locker room before I showed any pain.You don't know how many times I thought about finding out who did that.If you're strong enough to lift them in the first place save a little strength to put them back!!!
yeah jackoffs not unloading the weights piss me off as does the fat sweaty asshole that leaves a puddle of sweat on the bench-here is another one...when some jackoff that I've never seen before in my life (usually some kid) comes up to me and asks," dude your huge what are you on? can you get me some?" WTF-I just give them this look like they are stupid and walk away because they are...

Man i was in the gym the other day, guy was on the bench, left, and i have never in my life seen a puddle of sweat this big, it was crazy, and it pissed me off because he didnt even whipe it up, im guessin he didnt know, but dang, how do you not know? Another one is people who come to the gym and just talk.

I take turns working out at either the Marine Corps base or the gym at my college (SDSU). Both have their downfalls. On the one hand (SDSU), you have all the typical problems of sweat, scumbags on cell phones (or that gay ass ear piece), and the worst: people who don't restack the weights. On the other (the base) you have a bunch of stupid jar heads that clink the weights together like they're fucking drums. I hate that shit! What are they trying to prove by slapping the dumbbells together on a military press??? :angry:

I thought about starting this same thread. I thought it was just me being super anal. I've actually thought about chasing people down and telling them to rack there weights.... Guess its the bouncer or parent in me, feeling like im entitled to tell people when there mis-behaving. 45s arent so bad, cause I just add more, but its fucking irritating when you have to peal of 10's or 25's or what ever other bullshit they managed to put together on a bar or machine. You know those are the messy fuckers that dont clean there room.
Just one more to add... What about the fuckers that pull 45's off - just from one side??.. I just want to kill people when I see that. Not because im afraid that they'll get hurt- but some innocent bystander. I do step in when I see that... Ill throw the 45 on the ground and make as much noise as I can so which ever fucked did that will know, i dont like it.

but I usually only leave 1 45 on each side of leg press, hack, squat, whatever.
I do this because usually when I get there, IM the one that takes of 4 or 5 wheels on each side. I figure taking 1 wheel off each side is a good warmup for the next person
and as for the sweaters...at least they are breaking a sweat! still better than the lazy assholes that only run their mouth and critize other peoples form.

The most Ive ever used on hacks is 3 wheels per side, ass to ground. At it was low reps and hard as hell. Some guy with stick legs come and stacks on two more for 1inch reps and acts like he's all hard. I cant wait to see some douche blow a knee out doing that. i would laugh.

I really hate when some unthoughtfull asshole gets up from doing a bench exercise and leaves a puddle of sweat on the bench and doesnt wipe it up, that burns my ass more than anything at the gym, but the second thing that I hate is when I forget to bring my water bottle and have to drink out of the fountian,while your waiting in line the dude in front of you takes in a big mouthful,swishes it around and then spits it back into the fountain. That makes me sick ! for those of you who do that, STOP IT ! ITS NASTY!, AND UNSANITARY!. Wow I feel much better, I'm glad you started this thread bro.!
i also hate the a-holes that walk around with the protein smoothies
