I think it depends on how many carbs you injest pre-workout. I don't eat much carbs pre-workout, my work out is near the end of the day so post worout I have the majority of my carbs. Allot of dextrose will give you a large insulin spike, so you muscles get loaded with all that protein, vitamins, and carbs that is needed.

at the moment i mix in a bottle 40 grams of dextrose and 35 grams maltodextrine + creatine,glutamine,taurine,vitamin c,alcar and ala and in another bottle w.p.i. i take wpi only after workingout all my other shakes are a blend of 20%wpi and 80%caseine,caseine takes longer to be digested so you have a constant flow of protein in you system,if you add a some flaxseedoil is even better(but not post workout!!!)
 
well dextrose is sweet,but immediately after all the rest is quite disgusting,especially taurine in cristals,the secret is to use just a little bit of water and a bottle with a big opening so i just send evrithing down in a sip and than i have a bottle of water ready.....i don't talk a lot in the gym,i am the only one with a training log,i use restpause and other thingh that here in italy nobody has ever seen (i am the only one to do deadlifts in my gym)plus they see me in the locker room mixing all sort of powders and fluids.I don't knowh what idea they have of me,they barely watch me in the eye...:dizzy: probably they think i am a lost it,it's allright with me,if i am using something nobody never ever said could we share even if the room is crowded:D
