anyone using this? It tastes great and is a good alternate source of protein and EFA's but it's freakin' expensive.

yeah it tastes great, it tastes a little more like natural PB versus the sugar loaded stuff like Skippy. The only down side for me is that it has to be kept in the fridge after you open it so I can't keep it at my desk at work.
 
I couldn't see the nutritional content listed. Is it any healthiere than Peter Pan? You can't tell from the on-line ad.

I use a lot of ground flax and it is certainly good for cholesterol levels (and the medical research supports this). Not expensive either. I just put some in my oatmeal.
 
thats not bad at all, i eat matural pb as does my wife, but nothing beats the taste of good old peter pan baby, wich ever we eat we use it at night as snacks, we each have our own so we can spoon out of it
 
I switch up w/natural almond butter. Supposed to be better for the joints - less acidy
then peanut. Wow, high protien on that powerbutter.
 
Peanut Butter + egg whites + wheat germ + flaxseed + flaxseed oil. Pretty easy to see why it's good for you but it's not worth the price. I already use a natural PB and use Whey protein. Just add some wheat germ and flaxseed and I get the same benefit without the high price.

this is pretty good peanut butter but it is expensive the acme by me has a peanut butter in the same jar for a shit load cheaper, the nutrition facts are different because there are different serving sizes on each but if you do the math they are almost the same and the ingredients are the same ithink the power was 7.99 and this was like 2.99 ill see if i have a jar and ill post a pick
 
wow, reading this stuff has got me thinking about my diet like crazy...I really need to get it dialed in. i usually just eat peter pan...but probably not the best thing for me. Hey superman...I hit up your site the other night...shoot me a PM sometime and we'll see if we can get something worked up as far as a diet for me.
 
Just tried the power butter. It is expensive but it has a shit load of protein, 32 grams per 4 table spoons!! I think it tastes good but has an after taste to it. I eat it with an apple and it doesnt have that after taste and is excellent. You get alot of your protein intake with out getting full. I added it with an apple as part of my daily snack.
 
I made a couple of batches of my own. I just added a bit of water to a half full jar of Jiff (or whatever was on sale) and then added in vanilla protein powder and stirred. I also added a couple of packets of spenda. I did the same thing with another jar and some choc. protein powder.

Both taste very good - but not exactly like PB. The choc. one is a bit like a choc. and BP sandwich. I think it woudl be better without the splenda.

When you mix it, you need to add a bit of water and then a bit of protein powder, then water, then powder.... If you want, add some ground flax seed or some flax seed oil. It took me maybe two minutes to do a jar of it.

Cheap and easy - how can you go wrong?
