How many of you are aware that when you stick yourself the "good bacteria"
in your gut plays a crucial role in the synthesis of steroid molecules.
The more beneficial bacteria you have the more efficient you metabolize steroids and food.
Due too the bleaching of todays processed food the average american has 70% Bad bacteria and 30% good bacteria colonies. It should be Vice-Versa for optimum health....... and ya wonder why america is in such a health care crysis. Health begins in the center from the foods you eat and the nutrients you absorb.
What does this mean to you as a bodybuilder on Anabolics? Simple, your not getting the most bang for your buck and your setting yourself up for illness.
Whats Good bacteria mean too you. Lets take a look:
*Support your bodys immune system by maintaining levels of immunoglobulin A,M &G
* Promote correct digestion and absorbtion of food nutrients ( we all need more protien absorbing potential).
*Help regulate Already normal blood pressure and cholesterol
*Restore and maintain Normal gastro -intestinal Micro flora
*Help fight stress related fatigue
*Prevent constipation, Bloating, Diahrea and Flatulance
*Overcome skin problems.
So ive researched this plenty lately and my main question was, How do you choose the right Probiotic supplement?
Weve all seen acidophilis, which is probably the most common on any drug store shelf.
The goal is to build colinies of good bacteria. This takes More than one strain and especially some more than others.
Acidphilis being the least needed in a supplemental form due to teh fact that you can eat a cup of yogurt and get plenty of it.
Another Thingto keep in mind is how much are you getting per capsule. Cheaper versions have 1-8 billion bacteria per cap while the more reputable companies have 20 billion and as high as 45billion per cap.
When looking for a Probiotic supplement you want to read the inclusion of the following ingredients due to the fact that they are most resposible for the formation of beneficial colonies of good bacteria.
Heres a list of what your supplement should include at the very minimum:
*B.Lactis, B.Bifidum, B.infantis, B.longum, L.Bulgaricus, L.Paracasei, L.planatarum, L.rhamnusus, L.salivarius and Streptococcus Thermophilus
Now the hunt was on........I found tons of acidophilus supps with maybe two to eight other strains. I wanted a supplement that contained all and in a quantity of at least 15billion organisms per serving.
I decided to look into the most reputable brands in the industry and was lucky enough to find one who actually followed the research on proper Probiotic supplementation.
Solaray "Multidophilus-12 "fit the bill perfectly and did Garden of life "Primal defense".
Hopefully this helps you fellas that want to get the most out of your gear.
