I have used True Protein products for a number of years because the stuff tastes good and it works.
I got an email a few weeks ago stating they had come up with powdered broth mixes. I am always looking for food alternatives so I decided to try one.
They had 4 flavors:
Roasted Chicken Broth
Lean Beef Broth
French Onion Broth
Southwest Black Bean Broth
I like chicken, so I ordered the Roasted Chicken Broth.
It is easy to make- just like making powdered broth or bouillon cubes- add hot water.
Pretty damn good.
Next I added spinach, a few wheat noodles, and some grilled chicken breast strips. I added a little season salt, cracked black pepper and rosemary to the chicken strips while they were grilling.
Pretty damn awesome tasting soup.
Made the same thing today except I added some organic salsa for flavor.
If you are looking for a meal alternative, give this a shot. Its pretty easy and you can add what you want to it.
