question about carbs

if all the carbs i eat during my cutting diet come from 1cup of total cereal in the am and what ever i get from my protien shake

is that good or is the cereal too much im sick of oatmeal in the am and i just need some carbs to get the day off once im goin caffine and ephedrine keep me up but i just need that jolt in the am

im not counting carbs i get from letuce and vegies

also i noticed something i been dieting down for like 2 weeks now and i been craping my brains out is this just all the shit that was cloged in me or is it like fat and stuff like that that im looseing

i know its a stupid question but i had to ask it lol

The source of carbs depends on your goals. If getting ready to compete then you are very limited and oatmeal is your best bet. If you just trying to get cut to look good, assuming your total carbs are low, you could get away with a bagel once in awhile in the morning instead of the oatmeal.
Just be sure to through in a high carb day once or twice a week to keep your body guessing, otherwise you will plateau rather quickly and stop dropping bodyfat.
Also, if eating alot of lettuce, that will cause the 'craps' you have.
