Reverse Grip Bench Press

I did chest today and I thought that I would do something different.. I try reverse grip bench press. Ever time I try these I don't fill or get shit out of it. I think this type of workout is overrated !!! Maybe I could be doing something wrong ???
 
are you doing this for chest or triceps ?

Well I did chest and tris today. So I thought I would throw it in on my last sets.. Sense I did them both body parts today.. But my pump have kind of suck here lately..

well, being that it was your last movement, you might have been out of glycogen by then. Also, your form could be off, by just being beat and tired. I assume you have been doing alot of 12hr shifts ? Prob, part of the reason why your pump have sucked lately...Just some thoughts...
 
Thanks bro.. Yea you probably right... I've been working just 7 days a week.. And I was roofing all last week before I came to work ...
 
I love these on the smith machine... you really amp the wieght up without worrying about dropping it
 
I do these instead of inclines for upper chest. It's awkward trying to unrack the weight by yourself as you have to be back on the bench pretty far. But you want to bring the weight down to your abdomin area, you should really be feeling a squeeze in the upper chest area
 
if you do research on it, it is a great upper chest move.
You are right nuk.. I did so more research on it.. And I read that aloy of guys do it more than they do incline they said it hits the upper chest more.. So I did it this week on chest day and it did hit my upper chest more .. I feel more in my shoulders when I do incline.. :thumbsup:
