Scientists cure cancer, but no one takes notice

Researchers at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Canada have cured cancer last week, yet there is a little ripple in the news or in TV. It is a simple technique using very basic drug. The method employs dichloroacetate, which is currently used to treat metabolic disorders. So, there is no concern of side effects or about their long term effects.

This drug doesn’t require a [COLOR=#297CCF ! important][FONT=inherit ! important][COLOR=#297CCF ! important][FONT=inherit ! important]patent[/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR], so anyone can employ it widely and cheaply compared to the costly cancer drugs produced by major pharmaceutical companies.

Canadian scientists tested this dichloroacetate (DCA) on human’s cells; it killed lung, breast and [COLOR=#297CCF ! important][FONT=inherit ! important][COLOR=#297CCF ! important][FONT=inherit ! important]brain [/FONT][COLOR=#297CCF ! important][FONT=inherit ! important]cancer[/FONT][/COLOR][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR] cells and left the [COLOR=#297CCF ! important][FONT=inherit ! important][COLOR=#297CCF ! important][FONT=inherit ! important]healthy[/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR] cells alone. It was tested on Rats inflicted with severe tumors; their cells shrank when they were fed with water supplemented with DCA. The drug is widely available and the technique is easy to use, why the major drug companies are not involved? Or the Media interested in this find?

In human bodies there is a natural cancer fighting human cell, the mitochondria, but they need to be triggered to be effective. Scientists used to think that these mitochondria cells were damaged and thus ineffective against cancer. So they used to focus on glycolysis, which is less effective in curing cancer and more wasteful. The drug manufacturers focused on this glycolysis method to fight cancer. This DCA on the other hand doesn’t rely on glycolysis instead on mitochondria; it triggers the mitochondria which in turn fights the cancer cells.

The side effect of this is it also reactivates a process called apoptosis. You see, mitochondria contain an all-too-important self-destruct button that can't be pressed in cancer cells. Without it, tumors grow larger as cells refuse to be extinguished. Fully functioning mitochondria, thanks to DCA, can once again die.

With glycolysis turned off, the body produces less lactic acid, so the bad tissue around cancer cells doesn't break down and seed new tumors.

Pharmaceutical companies are not investing in this research because DCA method cannot be patented, without a patent they can’t make money, like they are doing now with their AIDS Patent. Since the pharmaceutical companies won’t develop this, the article says other independent laboratories should start producing this drug and do more research to confirm all the above findings and produce drugs. All the groundwork can be done in collaboration with the Universities, who will be glad to assist in such research and can develop an effective drug for curing cancer.

My take on this:

I have absolutely no clue on if this is real, if the actual facts above that are stated in fact do just what they state they do, or what.
I just personally believe that someone, somewhere knows something in regards to a cure to this god awful disease.
I lost many family members to cancer, and I have never forgot what they went through and what it did to our family, as well as many around us.



This is NOT an individual disease, all suffer around from every corner.
I just have hope in my heart that they are truly working on a cure, not covering one up.

makes sense that if a pharmacuetical company cant make money by a patent or similar, then why bother? Capitalism is about making money, not the ethics of humanity.

the read sad part is doctors not using it in their cancer fighting arsenal. Of course. pharmacuetical companies spend BIG bucks buying doctors too.

Drew, yeah Im not sure if it is real or not, but like you said if it is, then the pharma companies see no monies to be made, so it will get shoved below a rock and lost in time. Sad enough!

Yeah kinda like this guy I read about that found a way to run a car, and even a house with a few decent size batteries, that were chargeable too. The dude vanished into some space time continuum and was never seen again!

Yeah kinda like this guy I read about that found a way to run a car, and even a house with a few decent size batteries, that were chargeable too. The dude vanished into some space time continuum and was never seen again!

It's fucked up shit. There is Governments that run our Governments with-in our Governments, that are much larger then we could ever fathom. We truly are just small particulars floating around in some little bubble. We are sheep as they say!

In my particular instance, 2 different agencies can't get their shit on the same page and it's costing me a fortune trying to get everything to "assist" them in doing the job that they should've been doing from day one. But somehow it's all my problem, not theirs so I have to get all the paperwork for them rather than them looking into why the fuck up happened in the first place and taking care of it on their end

Sounds like a common problem these days when filing for paper work, or getting something summited for processing, nothing but delays, road blocks, or just no where to go and getting lost in the sauce. The system from so many angles sucks anymore. But ya know, if you rant to them or stress the difficulty that you are having, they in return deem it your fault. I'm far from a sympathizer for those that have violent retaliations and/or protest against our Government, but at times I must say I feel their pain. :shocked:
