shoulder presses--which is the one that works best?

I have the same issue, except with my left shoulder. I've found that shoulder press on the smith machine eliminates the tipping problem. I never liked shoulder exercises until I started doing them on the smith machine.
 
i prefer dumbells but every once in awhile i'll do them on the smith machine alternating front/behind the neck presses every other rep... i love them
 
Have you guys tried placing the bench on a slight incline when doing seated presses. It's a nice alternative to 90 degree presses. of cource you'll need an adjustable bench but you can use it in the smith or bells.
