I think I have seen it more than once, and Im guilty of it myself...
but how many times have you seen a guy looked ripped as hell, full and dry (pretty dry anyway) at say, 3-4 weeks out...then come day of the show, and loses 10-15lbs and looks flat as hell...
Why do you think this happens ? I mean, you look in the mirror and see yourself...and you know your ripped and full...but then you start to second guess yourself...Maybe, just maybe you can get that extra 2% harder, and dryer...so you cut the carbs down more (or totally out) do extra cardio...then come contest time, your flat, and looking like your holding water (even though your so flat, that your muscles cant push to the skin to look nice and tight)...look like crap...then after the show you relize that you screwed up the whole prep, because you second guess yourself...??? Who has done that ???LOL !!!
my question is why do we second guess ourselfs ?
Example - first pic is of me at 3 weeks out (after carb up day) at 232lbs....second pic is of me at Nats at 222lbs (pretty full, probably not fully carbed up, but close)....which one do you think looks better...did I really get that much harder in 3 weeks of extra dieting and 10lbs lighter...???
