I got my bloodwork back today and all my levels were good except one which was kinda to be expected. My free t4 was 22 and the normal range is 4. What this sounds like is that im hyper thyroid but in actuallity it means that I need more synthroid because my body has too much that isn't be converted. Explains why even on prop at 350 a week my gains were decent but the cutting wasn't very effective. Thats actually the reason I ended up running some deca at the end because my bodyfat wasn't decreasing despite a strict diet and cardio. Just thought I would drop this info by.

I could get into this so deep, but im not a dr so im not gonna.. This website will explain all of your results. Alot of Dr's dont know the correct way to treat thyroid issues because they lack the proper tests to properly treat thyroid disorders. http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/
This is a great website about thyroid diseases. Sorry admin, if its not cool to post that link, then delete this post. Thanks.

I can tell you I went to an endo and have had nearly 20k worth of bloodwork and I have hashimotos. The way mine was discovered was a 40 pound weight gain in a month, anxiety, lack of energy, the list goes on and on. I was having anxiety attacks 6 times at day at least and my famiy prac. is the one who first sent me to the endo. I have also seen a hematologist for the t4 condition as well. I knew my thyroid levels were off this time for two reasons: I can not stay awake, taking two to three naps a day, and most importantly I started seeing tons of flashers and floaters. I have to get my levels checked every 90 days maximum but prefereably ever 30 days but my insurance changed so I couldn't get it done until now.

Just another note so you can understand my condition. My gamma globulin is low as well and in the past my body was actually allergic to itself. Yes this is a real condition. LOL. One other thing. I have done tons of research on this as well and if you are wondering if Im informed let me just say my normal temp is 95-96.1 and I haven't ran fever in over 8 years even with pneumonia and a severe infection. The last known moment of fever for me was when my appendix ruptured and I almost went septic. My temp only got up to 103 in a near sepsis state and the doc told me I would have only lived about 8 more hours without surgery.

Wow, so you need to be on T3 then. I'm going to have to have a discussion about this with my endo. I probably don't need the T4.

It just sounds like a backward treatment really. High numbers equal hypothyroid low numbers equal hyper. Odd huh. Yes dreww I should be a bubble boy and almost was when I was a kid. I had scarlet fever, mono, and hepatitis all at once. I was in the hospital 2 months and almost died. Im just happy to be here. LOL

That is pretty backwards to assume that by giving T4 that the body will happily convert to T3. It's no wonder that so many people still have trouble when they are being treated.
