tatoo's in competitive bodybuilding

Large tribal tatoo's distract from the physique. I feel contestants are dinged points for these and given two good physiques the non tatoo one would win. Ever notice most champions have small ones or none at all. If you are thinkin of competing on national level don't go get some tribal tatoo that covers half your body.

I can't stand them personally. And if it obstructs one's physique than (i think) think they should be dinged. But if its just little shit than I doubt judges care much--they shouldn't.

I guess that's my long winded way of saying I agree lol

I definitely think they distract at times, but then again if you get dark enough with your tan, they're barely noticable
