NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)—Tim Tebow(notes) is back as Kyle Orton’s(notes) backup for the Denver Broncos against Tennessee a week after Brady Quinn(notes) spent a game as the No. 2 quarterback.
Quinn was designated Sunday as the third quarterback, while Denver also deactivated running back Knowshown Moreno (hamstring), and linebacker Wesley Woodyard(notes) (hamstring) as expected. Starting right cornerback Andre Goodman (quadricep) was deactivated after being listed as questionable. Right tackle Ryan Harris(notes) (ankle) is active.
The Titans had declared starting cornerback Jason McCourty(notes) out because of a broken right forearm. Rookie Alterraun Verner(notes) starts in his spot, but defensive end Jacob Ford(notes) (right knee) was deactivated along with healthy receiver Lavelle Hawkins(notes).
