Here are a couple of shots of Noel. She is in the process of taking better shots, frontal and rear, so that we can all contribute to helping her attain her fitness goals.

I am personally willing to write her diet and training regimen out for her and monitor her progress, with comparison shots every 3 weeks. Noel will post her stats for us when she is next online and tell us more about herself and her fitness history.

So let's hear it from you doll!

SHe is a VERY pretty girl. You have a great starting point noel; you will have no problem fulfulling any goals especially working with NVS!
 
pics look good, so if were gonna start to look for a transformation we are gonna need recent pictures, standing front and back normal stance...very atractive young woman Noel, you have nothing to be ashamed of....my wife jsut smacked me in teh head for looking too long!!! Md-
 
Most woman strive to look like noels starting point......noel you should feel great about where youre at.

BTW.........Where is noel?

ahhh your all too sweet, ( you guys must really be scared of n.v.s lol ) !!! i am going to try to do my pics this weeekend, i have had a ton of stuff going on this week, my daughter turned 5 and i am about partied out. thanks for all the really great encouragement, it ment alot when i logged on to see that ya'll are so supportive of each others dreams and goals and mine... you guys rock !!!
 
ok so my fitness ruitine right now is ummm... ok if i cant remember it its been way to long since i've hit the gym. right now i am doing nothing. i used to about 2 years ago work out an hour of cardio 5-7 days a week and eat less than 1,000 calories, mostly odossy protien bars and orange ruffy or tilapia or a similair kind of fish, ( which i know is probably not very good ). as of now i am eating whatever which is way worse. i have done in the past w/ my old trainer a week of all fruits and vegitable and then onto the 1/2 cup protein and 1/2 cup brown rice and broccolli after that but have never made it very far becayse shit gets in the way... like what do you order at a restraunt ? and my will power is not the best i might add. i am also the cook at home and it is actually one of my favorite things to do, even on my day off i love to cook a huge meal and i dont know how to control that. when i was eating the bars and fish i was newly divorsed and lived w/ just myself and a 2 year old so i could get away w/not cooking alot even if i felt like it. i am as of right now about 140 and 5'8" and would like to loose 20 and be a whole lot tighter.... anybody got some tips or prayers for my will power lol ???

Good to see you. For a minute i thought you had given up on us...or yourself..but you're here now and that it what counts!
So what i gather from what you have posted, is that you have been out of the loop for a while..NOT A PROBLEM. So lets get back to the basics:

1- Desire!

When there's a will, there's a way!! If you want something bad enough, you will MAKE IT HAPPEN. You will find ways around your busy schedule to get your workouts and your meals in.

2- Knowledge!

Educate yourself on the right foods to eat. I can understand you have been eating anything and everything and have a problem with willpower..BUT GUESS WHAT?! There are great tasting foods out there which could provide a healthy alternative to all the sugars and staturated fats in the food you enjoy!!

3- Fun!

Find something you enjoy doing on a daily basis! Like walking the dog! Make a habit out of that! The first and preliminary steps in living a healthier lifestyle is forming and KEEPING good habits. Once you get use to doing something on a consistent basis AND you begin to see results, you will get motivated!!

4-Motivation!

You HAVE to get motivated and that is what we are all here for! You keep coming back to us and we will ALWAYS give you the pat on the back that you need! We will always tell you how beautiful you are and how great you look which should be incentive for you to work harder and get psyched about the new and improved you!

We will teach you how to read food labels which will help you select your foods better!

We will teach you how to listen to your body and love what it can do for you!

We will teach you how to say NO NO NO NO NO when those urges to devour those ding dongs are overwhelming!

You start small and stay with it and i promise you, not only will you look better but you will feel alot better too! Feeling better about yourself will make you a do better at work, at home, make you a better mother AND wife !!
Nothing like the satisfaction of feeling GOOOOOOOOOOOOD in your own skin! Intoxicating!

So POSTEM UP! Dont you go vanishing on me now. NO EXCUSES. Post those pics up so we can get the ball rollin!!

Welcome Noel! 80% of the population would like to look like you in those pics! :thumbsup: You just need to round out the shoulders just a TINY bit (unless you want to compete in fitness/figure) and firm the butt and tummy.... that's it!
 
uhhhh, grrrr... i keep having computer problems, i dont think its the site cause everyone else is posting away, but when i try to log on it wont let me log on or either the post quick reply secrion is missing of my page ? n.v.s i was wondering if you could elaberate on your advise from above, oops i guess i am on the wrong thread about why not to eat to many bars ? everyone else probably knows why but i dont ???

any suggestions for favorite outdoor cardio ( that can be done in a mild to cold climate ) ? i am always looking for something fun or new to try.

what cardio are you doing/planning on doing?

I personally try to avoid outside cardio. TX is usually WAY to hot as I usually diet down during the spring and summer months. If its cooler in the season or I just want a change I will go running (more like jogging) outside.

I dont plan a course, just run until my time is up. kinda beats starring at the LCD display of a cardio machine for 45 minutes. Of course, being a girl you might have people drive by with the "woo-woo's". I had people (all females thankfully) do it to me an many occasions.
 
i am not really a runner, i do the eliptical and like that for indoors but i get side akes from running and i ( not to be graffic ) feel like my boobs are on display hoppin all lover the place if i am running indoors too, and its even more embarrasing to have to hold then still ! i like swimming i can do that at a big indoor pool by my house for a hour or so, i really like things that you have to use your hands and legs like mountain hiking. i have a dog that loves to go do stuff like that also so its motivation to go. i would like to start hiking a couple days a week cause there is awsoem places to just head out for miles near my house but i am always nervous to be out bymyself incase something happenned. last summer when it was really hot me and my hubby went out and hiked down to a river in the middle of know where and carried are shotguns to target practice w/ and that was allot of fun but not something you can do 5 days week in under an hour ? my other favorite outdoor activity is rollerblading, its not high impact so if i go out ot do it i usually make it a day and me and my girlfriends w/ go out for 4 or 5 hours.
 
were about a month out on the after pics, but n.v.s is putting together some before pics i sent her so we can all see where i started or am as of now.
