I totally disagree...I think it was hyped up to be all freaky and scary like the Blair Witch Project and was equally as lame. I know quite a few people that liked it, but personally I thought it was very disappointing. "Stir of Echoes" is much freakier than "The Ring" and a much better story line....IMO.

that movie was shity... they tried so hard to make it scary it wasnt even scary.. it waskinda fuckin boring...
nothing interesting happends... my girl friend was scared though...
but honestly i think blair witch project was much more scary than that shit....
just save ur money and watch it for 1$ or download it...

It scared the shit out of me. I'm with Winnie, go see it in the theatre. Video/download won't even come close to the theatre experience with this movie.
Scary as fuck.

46and2....out of curiosity, what did you find scary? I was bummed man, I thought "yeah finally a movie that will give me nightmares" but no, it fell very short on the fear factor. Oh well maybe the new one "THEY" will be better.

I just really liked the movie because, artistically, it was a lot better than your average "jumper." I thought the camera work and soundtrack were very good. What scared me? Hm... I guess only the two scenes that immediately come to mind... wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone!

I'll tell you one thing, I can't wait to see Solaris... and no, not because of Clooney's ass you smartalecks! James Cameron and Steven Soderbergh... this movie is going to be really good, one of those movies that you come out of thinking hard, questioning reality and your beliefs... I hope no one else is psyched about it so that I can see it opening day without the damn lines!
Also, of course, can't wait until the Twin Towers... hell yeah!
