its worth it. I was gone to see some family I don't get to see but about twice a year and missed my leg workout. I told my wife I would workout with her and let her do an easy version of my leg routine. Well we did balance lunges because Im trying to tighten her hamstrings up and she complains about the back of her thighs. She kept losing her balance so I offered to hold her hand while she did them. It really did help her get better form and lower on the exercises. So does that sound gay or do you think it is worth it if she is putting in the effort. I think I will keep doing it if it keeps her motivated. She's already hardening up. Pics soon if Im allowed. LOL

Queer.

JK bro. Do whatever it takes to motivate her. And personally, I would be more worried about what my wife thought than anyone at the gym or on the internet. Your wife is the one you see every day and sleep in the same bed with. That's how I try to be. I am self confident enough to make my wife happy despite what other guys may say behind my back, or even to my face, because at the end of the day, when all is said and done, making/keeping the wife happy is much more important than what some other guy(s) think about you.

Encourage her, hold her hand, spot her, do whatever she wants to keep her motivated and enthusiastic about working out. It will pay off I promise. :)

J, you know what. Let me come down and spot her for you. I can hold her hand for you so its not too "gay". LOL I also look forward to spotting her on squats!!!! LOL Awe cmon dont get mad, its all in good fun... Keep at it.

Bump that. I wouldnt worry to much on what other people thought. Do it for awhile, and slowly let her do it on her own, to where a few weeks from now, she will be ok to do it on her own.

if it's working keep doing it...
now you start holding another guy's hand then we'll start to wonder

She sounds like my wife, lol. She just needs the reassurance so she can learn the form. She'll eventually get it and be able to do the exercise without you holding her hand. Just be there for her support, it'll keep her going.

x10!!!!

Whatever gets her doing it, is all that matters. Eventually she'll get the hang of everything and she'll be doing it on her own, but until then, I'm sure it means the world to her that she knows how much you're supporting her - in every single possible way!

Glad to know everyone thought I was gay. LOL. My wife is 5' 3" and Im a little over 6' by the way. Im not actually gay I got a sex change. LOL

Just don't let her get into it too much and give her too much "help and encouragement" or you might end up like me.... Divorced from a Pro Figure Competitor!!!
