I thought I'd seen it all until today. There was a guy in the gym today (I know him, but he doesn't know me. He married someone's mom that I know so it's not that I know him personally, but I know who he is), he's in his 40s and he thinks he's still a young guy, he came in today strutting around like he owned the place, walking like a 21 year old in a bar (puffed up chest, arms out to the sides, hitch in his step, the whole 9 yards). Now first off, he's skinny as hell with a gut, nothing better than that. So anyway, I'm back doing lat pulldowns and low cable rows. He just sits down on the lat pulldown machine and adjusts the weight from where I had it. I had it at a medium weight, something around 170-190 and he moved it down to at least a few notches so I'd say he was looking at maybe 220, he did the first rep and couldn't get a second one. The first one was something I've never seen before, his back was basically parallel to the ground trying to get the weight down. Now all of this time I'm in between sets as I was super setting the 2 exercises so I thought I'd just watch this dumb ass jump in and then walk over when he was done. I was laughing so hard after seeing him do or should I say attempt to do 1 rep and damn near get pulled out of the seat as the weight slammed back down that I had to cut my sets short because I couldn't even be around the guy without laughing to the point where it would've been pointless to attempt anything.
I don't know if he got embarassed, but he went over to a bench and started doing crunches and that's all he did the rest of the time I was there. I'm not sure if he did anything after I left or not, but I got one hell of a laugh out of this
