DAY 1 — PUSH WORK
CHEST | SHOULDERS | TRIS

• Back to the show! Rest day was needed. I was pretty sore all over and it does feel good, recovery is needed to build. That being said up at 0430 as normal. Mr Ash wanting out, and rockstar zero and robe show for the neighbors. Got back in and feed Ash breakfast. I hit the garage with a metal mindset. So treadmill for 30 minutes heart rate at 125-135. Going into yoga stretching. Really working on legs and lower back. Then for my old school stretches. Following that up with a warm up set of my workout. That Sustanon really seems to be giving me an extra kick in drive. I am liking it. Still no pip or swelling.

*WORK SETS

• Dumbbell Bench Press
12–18 reps × 5 sets
Today we will stay with the last jump, 50 to 60's. 15 clean reps, locked‑in form, chest tight and squeezed disrespectfully as possible. I still work with a slow tempo. No fast speed up just controlled speed, down into a focused movement. And stretching deep as possible with a pause in the stretched position. Feels really good with the extra lbs. Didn't push it finished the last 4 sets at 12 reps. Started to really feel my thoughts to the pecs doing what I want them to do.

• Incline Dumbbell Flyes — 15°
10–15 reps × 4 sets we are the same, 15 from 10lbs. Full stretch, slow squeeze. 15 reps on set 1, So did 12 on the rest of the sets. Focused on keeping tempo in time. Then on the decent slow and controlled pause at maximum stretch. Feeling it as the presses. Really getting deep on the chest.

• Triceps Rope Pushdowns —we had moved up from 50 to 60 lbs.
10–15 reps × 4 sets
Definitely at 15 reps. I can really feel this increase. Focus sharp, feeling them contractions from top to bottom, keeping the pace going. But on the contraction movement I pushed with a slower movement, then slow accent back. On a 4 count. Hit 10 on the rest of the sets. Tri's are feeling juicy. Just not over doing it or getting cocky.

• Cable Lateral Raises
12–18 reps × 5 sets
Cross‑cable setup we are at 12.5 lbs. Hitting 15 reps first set. No changes in tempo. Adjusting stance to hit all the fibers in the shoulders. From set to set 5 x 12 reps on the rest. I should say I only do one front delt set, as the get work in flys and presses.

• Seated Overhead Dumbbell Press (Arnold Press)
8–12 reps × 5 sets
Bench nearly vertical, 25lb. First set 15 then to 12's finished off strong at 15. No shoulder pains at all. Still feeling solid in the shoulders.

• DAILY FUEL BREAKDOWN
- Calories: 3,550
- Protein: 340g
- Carbs: ~460–480g
- Fat: ~85–100g
- Sodium: ~3,800–4,800mg
- Meals: 6 total
- added a extra cup of rice to the cooker. Going to be an extra 145 grams of carbohydrates available in a day. As of late I take 2 cups and run it through the blender to add to shakes. If you add a bit of water you can get it very smooth through the blender. Think I may add more carbs on this day.

• OVERALL NOTES
Feeling pretty dam awesome. I have a track tournament tomorrow morning for the son. Will need to get to bed early. Then the New York Pro show pre judging will be going on. And definitely want to watch some of that. Hopefully you all are doing good. If you need to ask questions. Please don't hesitate. I love to help. It is the TEAM USP Way.

🔥 DAILY BODYBUILDING NEWS
May 8/2026
• NEW YORK PRO MEN’S OPEN: PRE-JUDGING EXPECTATIONS (MAY 7)

The judging narrative is already forming and it’s tighter than anyone expected.

• Bob Cicherillo’s Official Pre‑Judging Outlook
Industry judge and Voice of Bodybuilding host Bob Cicherillo dropped his Top 4 ahead of the New York Pro — and his picks reveal exactly what the judging panel will be looking for on Friday/Saturday.

Cicherillo’s projected Top 4 (no order):
• Rafael Brandão — added 5 kg and looks peeled; judges will reward shape + flow.
• Tonio Burton — fullness, roundness, and rear‑pose dominance; many insiders have him winning.
• Michal “Krizo” Križo — mass monster with momentum after ESN British Grand Prix win.
• Blessing Awodibu — wild structure, but must nail conditioning to stay in the mix.

Judging takeaway:
The panel is expected to prioritize shape + completeness, not just mass. Burton and Brandão fit that criteria best right now.

• FULL MEN’S OPEN LINEUP CONFIRMED (17 ATHLETES)

Men’s Open Competitors:
Blessing Awodibu (Ireland)
De’von Barnes (USA)
Rafael Brandão (Brazil)
Tonio Burton (USA)
Nathan Epler (USA)
Eiren Gauley (Canada)
Daniel Goss (Italy)
Amr Haider (Egypt)
Dorian Haywood (USA)
Oluwatobi Ishola (USA)
Christopher Knox (USA)
Michal Križanek (Slovakia)
Walter Martin (USA)
Vincenzo Masone (USA)
Patrick Moore (USA)
Jonathan Pieter (Netherlands)
Michael Woodhouse (USA)

Judging implications:
• Deepest NY Pro lineup in years — judges will run multiple callouts.
• Rear‑double biceps will likely decide the winner (Burton vs Krizo).
• Brandão could win on aesthetics if conditioning is undeniable.
• Blessing must survive the first callout — not guaranteed.

• PREJUDGING SCHEDULE & WHAT THE JUDGES SEE FIRST

Friday, May 8 — Prejudging (10:00 AM)
• Men’s Physique
• Classic Physique
• 212 Bodybuilding

Saturday, May 9 — Prejudging (10:00 AM)
• Men’s Open Bodybuilding (MAIN EVENT)
• Bikini

Judging flow:
1. Quarter turns — symmetry, taper, flow
2. Mandatory poses — front double, side chest, back double, etc.
3. Comparisons — expect 2–3 rounds due to depth
4. Final callout — usually determines the winner

Expect Burton, Krizo, Brandão in the final callout.

• EARLY RESULTS FROM OTHER DIVISIONS (FOR CONTEXT)

• Men’s 212 Winner: Michael Condell
• Classic Physique Winner: Niall Darwen
• Men’s Physique Winner: Ali Bilal
• Figure Winner: Jeanne Kassel
• Fit Model Winner: Gabriela Queiroz
• Women’s Physique Winner: Paula Ranta
• Wellness Winner: Daniele Mendonca

Judging trend so far:
• Tight waists
• Clean lines
• No bloating
• Crisp conditioning over pure size

This favors Brandão and Burton in Men’s Open.

• NEW YORK PRO PREP: ATHLETE MOMENTUM CHECK

Who’s peaking? Who’s fading? What will judges reward?

Michal Krizo
• Already Olympia‑qualified.
• Massive, but must show improved back detail.
• Judges will compare him directly to Burton.
• Thick waist
Tonio Burton
• Vascular, round, complete.
• Rear poses are his weapon.
• Many veterans (Valliere, Feroce, Akim) predict him winning.

Rafael Brandão
• Added size without losing shape.
• If he’s the most conditioned, he can steal the show.

Blessing Awodibu
• Wild structure, but conditioning is the question.
• If he’s off, he drops fast.

🧠 TEAM USP (CREEPER’S THOUGHTS)

The 2026 New York Pro is shaping up to be a three‑man war, and the judges already know it. Burton is the most complete, Krizo is the biggest, and Brandão is the prettiest physique on stage. The real battle will be from the back whoever wins the rear‑double and rear‑lat spread wins the show.

Creeper’s call?
Burton vs Krizo in the final two, with Brandão as the wildcard who can blow the whole thing open if he nails conditioning. I favor Krizo with his overall size and good condition. He isn't pretty. He is dialed in and peeled, and very confident. His posing is better than the past. He may be the upset depending if he surges today or fades.

This is the most competitive NY Pro lineup since the Walker runs and the judging panel is going to have to WORK.

DAY 2 — PULL | BACK • BICEPS • REAR DELTS

Starting off at 0400 We have the sons track tournament today. I need to get my shit done and on the road by 0830. So was able to get my Rockstar zero in hand take Mr. Ash out to stare at the neighbors. Checked up on some bodybuilding news.
Hit the treadmill for 20 minutes just to get warm. I get more steps later. Transitioning to yoga stretches. Working on stretches for the back and lats. Then my old school stretches. With some quick warm up sets.
Evo will be on during the car ride 🤙🏆
Did pack food to eat during the day with shakes and extra water.

*185.8 lbs this morning.

• Bent‑Over Barbell Rows
70lbs — 15, 14, 13 upped 5lbs again.
Back did get hot instantly but I wasn't messing around and had my belt tight. Hip pivot locked. Bar path clean. Still feeling light. Have room to work.
Always enjoy this type of back work, felt good, tightening squeeze between the shoulders with a 2 second pause, slow decent. To an accelerated pull up again.

• Lat Pulldowns (half a grip wider than shoulders + Unilateral)
100 on the stack • 50 for uni
Natural ‑to‑narrow rotation for 16–18 reps across 6 sets. 🤙
Unilateral rounds past 20 — pleasure‑pain mix, no other way to describe it.
Elbow‑to‑hip cue = width unlocked. Fire in the lats at the end. I am starting to see width pop. I will be really try to bring up lats. If anyone has something to add please chime in.

• Seated Cable Rows
130lbs — 15, 15, 15
Full resets. Tight pulls.
90‑second discipline.
Strength shows up in the patterns we build.

• Face Pulls
30 lbs — 20 reps × 3 sets.
Rear delts always get the pump on this.
Whole upper back gets touched.
Cracking walnuts between the shoulder blades by the end.

• Seated Cable Dumbbell Curls
90 lbs on cables, added 5lbs
Set 1: 12 slow, surgical reps
Set 5: 8 full reps + unknown partials
Arms pumped to the can't move or put elbows down 🤙

• Pullovers
70lb dumbbell, added 5lbs — 3×20
Sideways on the bench, letting gravity peel the lats open.
Last set slowed down to carve width with intent.

• Extra Set
Spider curl
25 lbs × 3 sets
First set: 10
Then 7 to 4 pause 3, partials to fail.

• DAILY FUEL BREAKDOWN
- Calories: 3,200
- Protein: 280g
- Carbs: 460–480g
- Fat: 75–85g
- Sodium: 3,800–4,400mg
- Tablespoon of honey before work sets — this is working very well. Felt the difference form the start. I also drink an electrolytes/ Aminos mix during the work.

• OVERALL NOTES
The son had a good day on the track. He is still recovering from an upper respiratory infection. So he was a bit off. And didn't perform his mile run he kicks ass at. He is in at 6 minutes 15 seconds on his last. Definitely way faster than my blocky ass. But was good for him to get out and be competitive. I was in my team USP shirt definitely catching looks with the gun show out 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 I know the officer's will probably be check out the website 😁🫡

🔥 TEAM USP DAILY BODYBUILDING NEWS. 5/9/2026

🏆 TONIO BURTON WINS THE 2026 NEW YORK PRO 🏆 DOMINANT, CLEAN, UNDENIABLE
Tonio Burton walked into New York and took command from the first callout.
Center spot never left him. Conditioning was the separator.
Back shots were the kill shot.

Official placing: 1st
Score: 8 points

Physique Breakdown — Tonio Burton
• Conditioning: Crisp, dry, detailed — best in the lineup
• Back double biceps: Clear win; deep separation and density
• Quads: Feathering on full display
• Midsection: Tight, controlled, professional
• Presentation: Zero wasted motion, champion-level pacing
Overall: The most complete body on stage. Olympia-level statement. Great control through the call–outs. Look forward to see his improvements.

• MICHAL KRIZANEK TAKES 2ND
MASS MONSTER, BUT NOT SHARP ENOUGH
Krizo brought mass and roundness, but Burton’s detail beat him where it mattered.

Official placing: 2nd
Score: 10 points

Physique Breakdown — Michal Krizanek
• Size: Biggest man on stage, no debate
• Front double: Freaky silhouette, huge arms
• Back shots: Improved but still not matching Burton’s detail. Lacking bi size in the back double
• Conditioning: Good, not great — cost him the win
• Midsection: He was breathing hard by the end he kept it together for the most part. His abs were washed out.
Overall: A dangerous threat, but not the sharpest version. He can make some Midsection improvements and be a real threat. I always go for the big guys in the show. He definitely made improvements to his posing. He needs more work to show what he has.

• RAFAEL BRANDÃO IN 3RD — AESTHETICS ON FULL DISPLAY
Brandão brought shape, flow, and lines, but lacked the density to challenge Burton or Krizo.

Official placing: 3rd
Score: 18 points

Physique Breakdown — Rafael Brandão
• Aesthetics: Best in the lineup
• Front shots: Beautiful structure, clean lines
• Back: Good but not deep enough to hang with the top 2
• Conditioning: Solid, but not razor-sharp
Overall: Aesthetic standout, but out-muscled today. Think he was a bit flat compared to some early shots of his. Cost him in the end.

• BLESSING AWODIBU CRACKS TOP 4 — IMPROVED, CONFIDENT, ENTERTAINING
Blessing brought better conditioning and a more complete look than last season.

Official placing: 4th
Score: 24 points

Physique Breakdown — Blessing Awodibu
• Upper body: Round, full, cartoonish
• Legs: Improved but still behind the top 3
• Conditioning: Best he’s brought in a while
• Stage presence: Elite, crowd loved him
Overall: A strong return to form. I can't believe the run he is on and stayed in great shape.

• DANIEL GOSS IN 5TH — BREAKOUT PERFORMANCE
Goss delivered a dense, balanced, professional look that earned him a top-5 finish.

Official placing: 5th
Score: 30 points

Physique Breakdown — Daniel Goss
• Conditioning: Very good — sharp lines
• Back: Surprisingly strong
• Legs: Thick, detailed
• Presentation: Calm, confident
Overall: A legit rising threat in the Open class.

• PATRICK MOORE RETURNS TO THE TOP 6
Moore brought his signature shape but lacked the fullness to push higher.

Official placing: 6th
Score: 36 points

Physique Breakdown — Patrick Moore
• Shape: Still one of the best in the sport
• Arms: Standout bodypart
• Conditioning: Good, not elite
• Fullness: Missing in key poses
Overall: A solid showing, but not peak Moore.

• OFFICIAL IFBB SCORECARD — MEN’S OPEN (TOP 6)
• 1st — Tonio Burton: 8
• 2nd — Michal Krizanek: 10
• 3rd — Rafael Brandão: 18
• 4th — Blessing Awodibu: 24
• 5th — Daniel Goss: 30
• 6th — Patrick Moore: 36

🧠 TEAM USP — (CREEPER’S THOUGHTS)
Burton didn’t just win he took the show hostage.
This was a champion’s performance from the first walkout.
Krizo brought the mass, Brandão brought the beauty, Blessing brought the hype
but Burton brought the complete package.

Rear shots? Owned.
Conditioning? Sharper than anyone else.
Momentum? Sky-high heading into Olympia season.
This is the Tonio Burton people have been waiting for.
This is the version that can break into the Olympia callouts and cause chaos.

TEAM USP — DAY 3: Legs, Calves & Abs 🔥
Lower body work.

• 186.1 Lbs This morning.

• 0530 Ash man said it was time to get up. Per daily routine got a Rockstar zero in hand, robe on. A cool, crystal clear morning, everything was a calm quite mountain morning, fresh tree smell and a light rolling dew on the grass. Even the birds were quiet this morning. Would have enjoyed just going on a long walk in the middle of nowhere with Ash. As we know its also Mother's day and I have someone special to be with today! So rolled myself into the garage started on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Keeping Straight, into yoga stretching. Low back has been getting a bit tight on the treadmill so worked on that the most. Then into my normal stretches. I am on day 5 of pinning the Sus 500. This is USP and so far it's well worth it. I will give it an honest go and review. I did .1 so 50 mg. I have been doing it by itself and so far so good. Got right into my warm up sets feeling pretty awesome.
* 186.3 this morning
• Leg Press
230 lbs, Stance wide today.
Paused reps. Smooth and controlled.
4×12, quads still not near max. With the wide stance still holding the foam block Still working deeper than when I started with the block. Still getting a big stretch. And easy to come out the hole. But still feel this is continued progress on how my legs and knees feel. Definitely will be at this for some extent of time.

• Cable Crunches
We are staying at 150lbs. Spine arched, hips pulling through.
Controlled and systemic.
And doing 6 sets . I ran this up to 15. Didn't feel anything out of my rib. Think this will be where we work. And I was shaking hard on the last 2 sets.

• Romanian Deadlifts
120lbs, Belt tight. Hamstrings takes the load. Close to the shins, keeping head up.
10 on set one, slipped on reps after 3 going to 9 and 8. Hopefully we can continue up. Even if its a rep or 2 Just got to be methodically mindful.

• Calf Raises
120 lbs On a 2‑inch platform, heels hanging deep.
Stretch, squeeze up, repeat. 5 sets done at 10 reps. Felt really solid, great pump. Calfs definitely getting the veins popping.

• Hanging Leg Raises
Weighted sets with 10 lbs on the feet.
Strict, no sway. 8 reps with a rest of 60 seconds. With the jump of 5lbs, I was lit up in the abs. Think we will be here for a minute. Did the 8 reps 2 more sets. Using grips to keep from wasting energy in my arms.

• Smith Machine Squats
230 lbs, Wide stance, tempo steady.
10 reps then 9 matched again for sets 3 & 4. Nice and smooth. Form is still off in this stance. The foam is being used. Not getting full range. Still I can feel the load increase and will be doing the waddling show tomorrow 😅

• Hack squat started this off light as the finish touch. 150, 3 sets wide stance, toes pushed down 12, 10, 10. quads good and hot. Especially the sweep, foam box is still in play. Got down pretty deep. Maybe 90% still counts as a win didn't lose any reps. Wide with toes out a bit I can normally put it on the floor.

• Daily Totals
- Calories: ~3,150
- Protein: ~280g
-Fats:~75g
- Sodium ~ 3,250 –3,950
- Carbs: ~380–420 Moderate‑high (ideal for recovery)
- Fats: Controlled, mostly from eggs + almond butter

• Notes of the Day
Had a good day with family had to do 2 breakfasts, one for me then everyone else who's afraid of the word healthy, (kids) and got Amanda Red and Yellow Roses. She stepped out with the son for a bit and my daughter and I set up the flowers. Then unknowingly the kids had a healthy dinner with us and they didn't fight for 375 seconds. So that was nice!

186.2 this morning
Had a project to work on. Some wires that needed unfucked. To get door locks and door steps as well as dome lights. Some people stress over wires but its not that big of a deal. I did have to move into some uncomfortable position with the legs but I tried to see it as extra stretching. Still have some more problems to undo tomorrow. So should be a groovy day. I hope everyone is doing great. And killing the Monday!
