Can some explain or post an article on the actual effect of the cough.
I know it has to do with the BA mixed with the Tren compound.
I was just curious on what happens inside.
Sorry if this is already posted i didnt see it.

Man, I remeber getting wicked coughs from spanish Primobolan.......Someone told me it was a reaction to the oil. Felt like constriction of the airway by allergic reaction.

yeah cyphon thats exactly what happens. I believe thats its neither the oil or the ba like commonly though. I have gotten the cough from several compounds with tren being by far the worst. All compounds have been made with the same oil and from the same jug of ba with the standard 3 %. Only variable here is the compound itself. I don't have much hard facts to support my theory, but I believe the severity of the cough is a characteristic of the compounds vascoconstiction prosperities. It may not be 100% right but its some food for thought.

I remember I was about 20 and I was choking after a shot down in my basement. I was hiding my gear use from everyone ....I was living with my parenets back then and they came down ............Im holding a stick with my pants down hacking my lungs out. LMAO! the good ole days.

The thing is these freaking choke sessions last pretty damn long.

yeah dude they can be long and intense, i found the cold helps, cold showers or rag on chest. First time it happened I just got out of the shower, put the plunger down and felt the tightening ran to the window (February) threw it open and stood in the second floor window in the cold air hacking up a lung. When it was all over I saw the neighbors youngest daughter staring at me from their living room window. Did I mention I was butt ass naked during this. I'm sure I traumatized her for life.

I havent ever experienced these coughs I always hear about although i only used tren once (BD). I'll look around for a write up on it though.

don't have a writeup too early in the a.m... but i will tell you it happened to me on tren... never aspirated... (DUMB) that day... plunged tren.. and coughed so hard for 10 minutes in the bathroom, i threw up... intense, watering eyes - i had to mentally control my breathing to get myself to stop. it sucked bad

superman pc- well sorry, I dont have the answer for you either.

When I first heard about tren cough, I though it was something you develope after continued use. I have to say Im not prone to this. Im using tren more and more.. and have found that I only have experienced the tren cough durning a bad injection. I always asperate when using tren now, But I also only do 50mgs wait about 10secs.. then if no cough developes, shoot the rest.

Here ya go bro.. I'll do some follow up articles if I find any other formal studies... it looks like it is caused by the actual transport vehicle for the compounds at least based off of this study...

Andrology: Tolerability of intramuscular injections of testosterone ester in oil vehicle

We undertook a prospective survey of the tolerability of deep i.m. injections of testosterone enanthate in a castor oil vehicle, the most widely used form of androgen replacement therapy. Over a period of 8 months, 26 men received 551 weekly injections into the gluteal, deltoid or thigh muscle and side-effects were recorded immediately and 1 week after each injection by the same nurse using a standardized questionnaire. Most injections caused no complaints [389/ 551, 70.6% (95% confidence interval 66.6–74.4%)] but minor local side-effects, mostly pain and bleeding, were common [162/551, 29.4% (25.6–33.4%)]; no serious side-effects were observed. Considering all side-effects, the gluteal site had fewer complaints and was less prone to bleeding but was painful more often than deltoid or thigh injection sites. The laterality of injection at any site had no significant effect on side-effects. The only systemic side-effect was episodes of sudden-onset, non-productive cough associated with faintness following eight injections [1.5% (0.6–2.9%)] which we speculate may have been due to pulmonary oil microembolism. We conclude that, when administered by an experienced nurse, deep i.m. injection of testosterone enanthate in a castor oil vehicle is generally safe and well tolerated but causes relatively frequent minor side-effects, including pain and bleeding. An improved depot form of testosterone would be highly desirable for androgen replacement therapy and hormonal male contraception.

The pain you are feeling in your chest is a side of a pulmonary oil microembolism.

Sometimes it takes days for this feeling to go away. It is most common with Tren but other compounds can produce this side as well. It is not fatal but scary so try not to worry. You'll be fine.

The cause is the oil not settling in the belly and you pulling the syringe out early. You nicked a vein or went thru one on the way in. You then didn't give the compound enough residence time. When you pulled out (pulling out. Ahhhh. where was I?) you created a venturi pulling oil to the surface. A minuscule amount went into the bloodstream and ended up in the lungs.

Try to keep the syringe in a full 30 seconds after injection and massage or press firmly the skin around the injection site while the syringe is still in you. While pressing down pull the syringe up in a fast paced motion. This should help.

If you start coughing, feel short winded or taste a metallic taste in your mouth just relax. Try not to get worked up. A POM happens from time to time.

You'll be fine.

hope that helps..

To elaborate on what Big_O wrote, the cough is actually caused by the BA evaporating in your lungs when the oil gets there. Tren seems to be famous for the cough, but you can get it from anything that contains BA, including regular old test cyp. I've experienced the cough just from that. The common factor here is a "bad injection," nicking a vein or going through one.

Stickler great read
I just like know the scientific reasonings behind things
Thanks

it's all good... that's one of the major reasons we do things around here.. learn to grow, and grow as we learn... lol ...

Yeah i always figured it was from me hitting a vein b/c thats the only way it could get through the body so quickly as well as get that metallic taste in my mouth.

good read bud. Still not 100% sold on that though. #1 that article only speculates the cause. #2 lets say oil/ ba is the culprit. When the type of oil and ba concetration is the same in two different injectable compounds how do you explain a significantly worse cough with tren vs say a test ester? Maybe I'm the exception here, please others chime in, but I have never experience a test cough that could compete with tren for intensity. Just playing devils advocate here.

at the same time as devil's advocate... do you get the same cough from the same injection size at the same site? ... or is it different locations, same intensity, different size? .. different aspects.. I can tell you that tren was terrible.. got slight cough from EQ once.. but nothing like tren, and has only happened to me twice.. honestly. both in glutes.. and both under stress.... not slow injects, no relaxed atmosphere... both under slight duress... so any thoughts?
