UPS getting pounded

I saw on the news this morning UPS getting pounded for packages getting delayed for Christmas. Fuk don't they know weather effects everyone I mean damn your granny didn't get her depends on time big deal. This world is so caught up on itself they look past the real point of Christmas. Give the guys a break it was terrible weather the 2 days before Christmas, theres gonna be delays.

That's fine unless they charged jacked up prices based upon the expectation of the package arriving before Christmas. I'd think a lot of people would be right to expect a refund.

i agree, if they charged more for guaranteed delivery etc. they should offer refunds, i think amazon is giving $20 gift cards as well since their orders got backed up.

I did hear a UPS exec. saying that they just guaranteed more packages than they could handle.

Guarantees are great, but people have to expect the unexpected with the weather. I mean if there's any delay that's unexpected obviously that's going to hold shit up. I just don't understand why people wait until the last fucking minute. In my opinion that's the customer's fault, it's not like Christmas falls on a different date every year

i'll disagree on this one, if they say it will be there on time "guaranteed" i would expect it to be done, thats like saying no matter what happens it will be there.

now i do agree on waiting till the last damn minute, thats just stupid

I'm not saying they shouldn't be refunded their money, I'm just saying that at some point you have to realize that shit happens. I'm sure there will be refunds handed out, or things corrected in some way. I just think there's so many people that are just always looking for a reason to bitch.

It's like all the people that wait until the absolute last minute to pay their taxes. Sooner or later if you play with fire you're going to get burnt.
