Horrific news out of Die Hard Gym in Peoria, Az: according to gym owner Timothy Sparkes, Vince Comerford passed away today at the facility around 2:30 pm. According to Sparkes, he was sleeping in the break room in the back of the gym when Sparkes found him unresponsive.Timothy started CPR, and co-workers called 911, but it was too late. Sparkes said Vince has been suffering from some major health issues of late, and didn't look good when he came in around 7:30 am. Cause of death not known at this point. I did several major interviews with Vince for IRON MAN in the late 80s and early 90s, and named him the New Blond Myth for his huge guns. He won the Middleweight class at the 1987 Nationals, when Shawn Ray took the Overall. Vince finished third in the first-ever IRON MAN Pro in 1990 (won by Ray) before eventually signing with the short-lived WBF. He told me he suffered from heart ailments, but was recovered and planning to come to my West Coast Classic in June. I hadn't seen Vince in decades, would have been great. More details to come. Vince was 52. RIP.

I saw Vince a lot, was really popular in the BB scene still with AZ athletes. Seemed like a super nice guy.

Must have been before my time because I didn't recognize the name or the pic. I guess that's a perk of being a young pup

it's from the high test doses...arnie and them were on anabolics and not test, gh, slin, synthol, peps, diuretics, etc

they predominantly used dbol, deca, primo in high doses on and off...

so this raises a question for myself but for long term users without breaks why is nobody using proviron while on a "cruise" or "off"...people use dbol to bridge while using clomid, nolva, hcg but proviron seems a more logical use

Proviron is good but I'd rather just stick to a low dose of test once a week. I've come to realization that I feel better on than I ever do off. Also this is just my opinion I think it's just "safer" to always stay on than completely come off. Just my opinion though.

Very sad. It's all speculation though. Bodybuilding gets a bad rap. Anyone hear of the two guys that died running the Rock and Roll half marathon last week in NC? They were 31 and 35.... So.... tell me again how unhealthy bodybuilding is.....

People die in all sports and walks of life but when your good or on top they blame it on the roids. Now some case ok, the abuse one yes but damm they need to get off it and do real research and put out the finding publicly. But is a sad day when another brothers falls.
