What are your skill sets or areas of expertise?

I think this would be pretty cool. I've been talking to a member that has an amazing skill set. It's really an eye opener when you learn that guys you talk to on here turn out to be impressively talented people. What can you guys do?
I'm more or less a pretty average guy. I've got some tactical training and some experience in wrestling and a couple other things. I'm sure some of you guys have some pretty interesting skills. My brother is a sharpshooter and Pro MMA fighter. He won his first two Pro fights in K1 five years ago, but hasn't been able to since then as he also works for the Govt and they frown on things of that nature.

I run a manufacturing business (CNC Manufacturing). We do not have our own product line. We make parts to print for an assortment of industries. We make motorcycle and car parts for the racing industry, parts for the medical industry (mostly hand tools), race boat parts, parts for the aerospace industry including satellite components, firearm components (both civilian & military), all kinds of military parts including naval parts. In this case we usually dont even know what they are for. Ive even made a pill press for a pharmaceutical company in Brazil. I also made a dick stretcher for the porn industry. Ive seen them on ebay recently. I enjoy my job, i never know what im going to make next. Sometimes the parts are so small you need a microscope to look at them, and other times you need a fork lift to move them. Unfortunately, my broken leg keeps me at home right now. But i enjoy going to work everyday.

i try to keep it simple these days. before i became a drug addict i was amazing bowler i won youth state championship at 17 bowled a few 300 games which at that time was tougher than it is now. i will say the other day i encouraged a young man to work towards his goals and that i believe in him. he cried and told me that nobody as ever said that to him before. he starts work for the first time tomorrow and going to get drivers license in the next few weeks.

Machinist; manual, not cnc. Rethreading drill pipe and collars mostly. I've worked on tiny brass bushings all the way up to crawler frames for heavy mining equipment.
Operated cnc plasma/burn table as well. Primarily "canned" programs that I can set perameters as per sketch.
I used to work in a place like Tripwires. Made aluminum trailer hitches. Just loaded/unloaded parts, shut door and hit the green button, repeat... 12 hours a day. Gravy job. I've recently started studying G code.

I don't necessarily have an expertise on anything, but I can do a lot of things with average ability. I can work on vehicles and basically fix anything that might be wrong with my car although I don't personally like working on cars, same thing with minor household repairs. I have an automatic car wash that I do all of the maintenance on. I guess if I had to pick one thing and it's totally useless, but I'm great with numbers. I was an accounting major until I decided it wasn't for me so I just went with general business. I can easily remember numbers albeit phone numbers, account numbers, anything of the sort. I can multiply weird numbers in my head, math has always come easy to me. I feel like fucking Rain Man at times

This is almost exactly what i made. I made 200 prototype units for the porn expo in vegas. They are now being molded instead of machined. They are making 10's of thousands. Can you imagine that contraption hanging from your junk? And before anyone asks, no i didnt test one out. I did some research when i was making them. They have tested them in the medical field for fixing curvature of the penis. I guess some people are born with a really curved dick, like a banana. So bad, they cant have sex.

You name it, it involves math. Everybody uses math all day eveyday. And im worried, the young kids i hire dont have basic math skills like we did when we got out of high school.
Just think about body building, its all math! Food, supps, weights we lift, our body changes (weight, bf%, arm circumference) etc etc etc....

Thats great, learn that g code, then learn a CAM software package like Mastercam, and you can work anywhere you want. There are hundreds of mfg facilitys in every big city making parts for aerospace and military industries.

I work on computer systems everyday. I manage hundreds of servers that serve to tens of millions of registered users. I am probably in the top 5-10 engineers at my company of 3k+ employees and usually involved in almost everything technical that my company is doing.

The worst is watching a highschool kid try to give change back out of a $20 bill at the grocery store or gas station. Freaking unreal! I teach elem PE so I see tge kids when they are young and I'm telling you these kids can't do squat!!

Interesting thread Dude. Ive oftened prided myself at being really good at a lot of things but I cant say I am a master at anything specific. Im an analyst for a hedge fund and oversee operations and the biz plans for around 1/2 billion in various types of real estate properties; apartments, hotels, office builldings, condos etc. I dont do the investments but I take care of them once their on the books. Im cutting my teeth on teaching myself trading techniques and chart analysis and plan to quit the day job in the next few years. Already paid for my wedding, vacations, and a few cars w/ it but need to sack away a lot more to give myself any peice of mind lol.

I had a few girls in the past say I am a master of eating box too.

I do have some awesome bucks on the farm this year. Been seeing 3 that are over 150". Im letting two local kids hunt this year. They've been a big help as summer workers and neither have ever had the chance at a nice deer. So im doing my best to get them a n encounter with a big buck.
