What causes "The Pump"

Protein synthesis in naturals increases after a workout for a slight period of time where as when you're on protein synthesis stays high all day....something about high protein with a bunch of complex carbs was mentioned by rich piana for post workout to help keep the muscles full.
 
How does the amount of tendons translate into muscle growth due to daily stimulation?

i believe the tendons grow thicker, thus making the forearm bigger. i'm sure the muscle does grow some, but the tendons thicken due to the constant bombardment of everyday use that a farmer or the old factory workers use to do. it's all day everyday.
 
I noticed this problem a couple of years ago. I just could not get a good pump going. Did a little research and came up with my own "preworkout". L-citrulline with some beetjuice powder. Boom.. Pumps came back :thumbsup:
