I had a conversation the other day. The guy i was talking to thought that he could put on 30lbs of lean muscle in 1 year. I told him he was a moron.... Lol

But im wondering what the average person puts on as far as lean body muscle per year with gear.
 
sure you can put on 30lbs a year but it won't be LBM, mostly water....if you lose it all after ever cycle though you can just keep putting on the same weight year after year.....

gud question bro cuz im wondering the same....i think im stil holding fat from the first cycle i did lol.....put on 44 lbs lost 10 after pct....wicked

I was thinking 5lbs of solid muscle per year. I know thats way below what a pro body builder would put on, but im saying the average person here.
 
You would be surprised a pro bbuilder doesnt put on much more then 5 pounds lean body mass a year if that much. Once you get that big and older 3 to 5 pounds is big gains. 30 pounds is doable but it depends on what cycle hes on how many hes ran what his nutrition pct training age weight etc. way too many variables. I mean think about it Cutler contest weight is at 270 ish if he put on 5 pounds of lean muscle a year, in 6 years he would weigh 300 pounds at 3to 4%bodyfat which means his offseason weight would be around 340 or 350ish.
 
very true... first cycle, young, and only weighs 180.... i guess 30lbs isnt so unachievable.
 
Its not unachievable but in one cycle its not going to happen. 30 pounds can happen but not all lean body mass. If he ran say 3 cycles in a year and had nutrition and training to a T no drinking etc. 30 pounds of nothing but lean mass could be achieved and possibly kept with good pct afterward or a hrt dose. Eager to see some more opinions on this but thats my take and i dont see it happening at all.
 
Too many things to consider as you said bro....everything would have to be pretty solid the entire cycle. I dunno about you guys but I always seem to fuk up my diet around this time of year straight thru the new year.....with all the partying, food, deserts, etc im usually lookin like a bloated mofo by January....man im salivatin thinkin about it now....i dunno how u guys can cut this time of year lol
 
Ha im cutting but its a slow process. Diet will be on point except for a little on the weekends, christmas of course i will chow with my family etc. but cheating on those days isnt gonna kill anything too bad. I havent had a beer in over 5 weeks not even a sip so im pretty proud of myself for that, specially since i had like 5 halloween parties i was supposed to hit up and like 4 girls that i could have banged that night, i decided to go hunting instead to stay away from the booze :eek:. Anybody that knows me will realize thats amazing haha normally i would be posting drunk on here all night.
 
Yeah its so unlike me its not even funny. It sucks in a way because i never see my buddies. They arent drunks by any means but just about anything we do golf, football, etc. will have beer involved lol.

ehh this state is full of whores its not hard to get ass, plus ihave a regular at the moment so i wasnt too concerned about it. Gains that are going to be with me most of my life or fucking up a cycle for a couple of booty call's it was a clear choice for me for once in my life.
 
Well i wish id think o tht lol...my last cycle i fukked this chick every other day...missed meals etc one day i was in the bathroom n i looked at myself n told her she had to get tha fuck out......dunno if i was jus lookin flat cuz o tha 'cardio' or wat but i was PISSED
 
alright we need to get this thread back on topic. Sorry we got so OT normal as you know we have a tendancy of that here haha.
Lets get some other opinions 30 pounds of LBM in a year doable or not? Thats just huge gains, i could see it happening like i said but not on a first bread and butter cycle there would have to be a 3 cycles or just not coming off, also diet would have to be 100% 30 pound is easy to put on but straight LBM not so much.
