What the deal with guys training all covered up in long sleeves and hoodies?

Lol I did that a while back because I was a little fat lol. Trying to get a good sweat in. Now I wear less clothing than ever. I guess as I get harder and more defined I like to see all my spider veins lol.

I wear a beanie all the time even in the summer so I guess for some it may just be habit. And others could be trying to hide fat, the mass they've gained or the fact that they have acne badly from being on

sweating makes me break out too much...i'll start with a tshirt and halfway thru take it off and go tank top...

ok so yesterday in the gym i saw all on the same person, finger foot shoes, a hoodie, a beanie and cant forget the beats by dre headphones.

Ill train with a hoodie and track pants.

I also like those velour track suits to train in. :)

i think the trend is to wear specific cool items or fad items because they make you train harder or stronger (at least that's what i perceive those individuals believe)...but the attire doesn't make me train any different...i still cut my tshirts into string tanks and wear my new balance x trainers that i wear for my clinicals being the floor...

I train in sweats and hoodie so that nobody bothers me, stay closed off, keep to myself and get through my workouts without having to hear "hey bro how do you get big and ripped" or "how do I get big traps" haha......plus I stay covered up for me, don't think I am where I want to be and keep mirror time for home.
but iam also the guy that stays covered up during the summer time and never wear tank tops, issues I know ha ha.

I can't do it man. I can't stand shit touching my arms or neck. It really bothers me. I cut the neck material down to the hem on all my sleeveless Under Armour shirts because it would touch my Adam's apple and make me gag.

Yeah I dont think I own a shirt with sleeves! lol, I either wear tank tops or t-shirts with the sleeves cut off! However I think Im going to start covering up soon and try to sweat a little more!

For me it's whatever is comfortable. Right now that's two sweatshirts, long underwear and a stocking hat! I train in my gym/garage that is unheated, has no insulation and holes in the walls where the wind blows right through. This week it hasn't been over 20 degrees! Windchill has had it down to -35. Lol. Not fun at all.

i do often wonder if the excessive sweating keeps the skin thinner than those who don't cover up...it makes sense if you compare bodyfat levels of those living near the equator vs nordic areas...

i dont see the benifit of sweating so much .. in actual fact i think its not a very good thing if your training hard. . unless your replenishing all that sweat. With proper fluids not just water.. Potasium and sodium n so forth.... many people think that sweating will aid in losing fat... it will help drop some water weight but not fat... i had a freind you used to go jogging while wearing a garbage bag under his tracksuits to help his sweat untill one day he dropped to the floor because of it.

i think it has to do with diet, i think there are more 3rd world type countries at the equator as well.

Thise living near the equator are generally starving people and those in Nordic regions are eating seal blubber and whales lol. Lol I'm just guessing here but I don't think the Africans are skinny from not having tshirts

Im just busting ur balls brutha!! There could be a good reason like u said I guess
