My old ass ironman watch i think was a timex has finaly died, And I have been on point with training and ready to take it back up a knotch. I liked keeping multiple alarms set on my wrist watch for eating, and supplements etc..

Does anyone have a good training watch that keeps multiple alarms for eating, and multiple elapsed time for between sets rest pause etc...

I could go get the same watch but i was wondering if there was anything newer out that any of use for training

this would be pretty interesting. Ive never thought of getting one but man this would be really cool. Specially like you said doubled for a stop watch or something for rests and sets.

yeah i used my old one all the time when it was time to get serious, even though u know when two hours are up and its time to eat, for some reason when the watch alarm goes off u take it more serious and actualy get up and get ur shake or whatever, plus its great inbetween sets, and to time out ur other supplements

Wow, never thought of that. Alarms to tell you when to eat.
Dam Presser, you continue to amaze me!!

you cracking on me man, im serious as a heart attach brutha, works for me

Why not just go to a watch repair (my Sears has one) and have a new battery put in it. They also sell new bands. You might also try WalMart, or check the Yellow Pages.

I have a newer Ironman that i like but it's designed for a runner so the face is actually on the side so that you don't have to turn your wrist to read it. Nike makes great watches as well but my all time favorite was my Suunto Advisor which is a bad ass watch, I need to get a battery for it and get it cleaned up so I can start using it again. I have 3 or 4 watches from my marathoning days that I alternate and all of the Nike and the Ironman watches have multiple alarms, stopwatch, laps and countdown options

Well my wife went ahead on bought me a new watch its a Timex ironman triathalon, lots of great alarm setting for eating intervals, supplement intervals, and also between sets counter, its black and yellow, I like it! just wanted to update this old thread

now if it would only mix my protien shakes, lol
