wierd growths? kinda gross, lancing, pus, and blood involved...

It's been two now, of recent.

The first one was between my legs, pretty much where I chafe. I thought it was an ingrwon hair that since of the chafing, it just got real big.

So it got to be about large marble sized and I got fed up with it. I started messing with it and noticed when I squeezed, one size turned pretty white, like some white pus would come out. I decided to poke it with a slin pin where it looked whitest. A good almost tablespoon of white pus-like, margerine consistancey (just not as dense as margerine, lighter or almost whipped) came out, along with blood and I think water too.

Now last night I scratch my right ribcage area and notice a lump. This was more of a small marble size, I honestly thought it was just a zit. I tried too squeeze the shit out of it but it wouldn't go. I got my box out and took a 25g to it. I poked it in about 3 or 4 different places and al places drew a drop of blood. So then I squeezed. I could feel it burst, but couldn't find what or where it came out. Not on the wall, floor, hand towell, flor, etc, etc? But I did feel it burst, felt like skin tearing. it was bleeding real good and I still felt some lump so I started rolling it (like you would dough with a roller) but with my finger. It was mostly blood, but it also seemed like water was coming out too.

Any ideas on what's going on with me?

Are you taking a shower every day? Bro., no dis or anything but if your sweating
and shit and get a build up of oil/dirt might end up like that. I'v had that happen if
I've went couple days w/o shower and was working hard and sweating. Not that
big though but like a zit under the skin. Just a thought.

It could be any kind of skin infection. Things like staph or strep, etc... There are pretty common. My baby girl caught a staff infection from being changed on a changing table in a church nursery earlier this year and she got some on her legs. I also ended up getting a couple, but we finally got them cleared up. They are similar to how you are describing yours. They look like big zits and when they are drained they are very contagous. They are not extremely dangerous unless they get in your blood system (which is very rare) but when they do you need help soon.

Now I am only talking about staph as it is the one I have the most exposure to, but there are several other kinds of bacteria that can get in a cut or scrape and cause a skin infection like the ones you have described. It could also be a boil or a sebacious cyst that you have popped. The only way to know is to see a doc and have him/her culture some of it. I would suggest you have this done as some of these bugs, if it is one, are extremely resistent to a lot of antibiotics. The most commone staph infection today is MRSA (methacyline resistent staphalococcus areaus) and it is resistent to all sorts of antibiotics. In fact, in some really resistent infections the only thing that works is vancomycin and it requires a hospital stay. Mine wasn't that bad, but it was MRSA and the meds I had to take made me crap water for a week, but it was worth it not to worry about getting one of those infections in a muscle from when I injected. That's my .02...I think you should see a doc as soon as you can. It's probably nothing to really get worried about, but it's also nothing to sweep under the rug, especially if there are two of them right now.

Thanks for the input. I shower twice, if not three times a day. I think the last time I missed taking a shower for an entire day is when I had my shoulder surgery two years ago.

I do have a doc appt on Monday, not related, but is a family prac. so he may have an idea. If I get a third I may see a dermatologist.

Wow, have no idea, but sounds like you may want to have a dermatologist/doctor test it.

sounds like subcutaneous acne or a sebascious cyst to me but it's weird that you got them in two different locations. Make sure if you "pop" anything else or touch them wipe them down with alcohol and wash your hands etc. It's possible that you spread the first one to a new site

when i was riding my motorcycle to work every day, i got 2 of those things on my inner thighs... they were sore (chaffing area), and they hurt, popped em.. and let me tell you it took work, i had to dig at them with this dermatogolist tool my wife bought online for popping zits, and ingrown hairs w/ no scarring... needless to say, they bled, and what you had reminds me of them ... described to a T... i never had them anywhere else, and i have scars now.. they were hard as knots.. and they went down.. but i do have bruising from where they were..

my friend used to get on ont he back of his neck right between his shoulder blades... he had to have them lanced or cut out.... he sweat like crazy (construction daily), and he showered 2 times a day too.. but his pores just clogged from all the crap he delt with on a daily basis...

if you went to the doc, and update would be great.. but let me tell you, these things scared the crap outta me b/c they were soo painful too...

remember if your pores are enlarged as well as your hair follicles dirt/bacteria can get in there alot easier which means they can clog easier too, i use a hard bristle shower brush to scour my skin to remove dead skin, open hair follicles, and clean my arms,chest,legs.. especially if i've shaven with anything other than a beard trimmer (mach3 razor i always scour my skin to make sure i don't get ingrown hairs)...
