What do you guys think? I don't mean a tattoo's impact on judging or anything bodybuilding related. I'm referring to the real meaningful stuff that some people have. Like the guys who can tell you a whole story that is the reason for an abstract really detailed picture. Not the "I love mom" or "RIP", "In memory xxxx", tramp stamps, etc...

i have seen some really awesome and meaningful tattoos but they are not for me. well at least right now i dont believe i would like one

I have seven and they all have a meaning to me. I wouldn't get one just to get one for no reason.

My whole body is meant to tell a story. So far I have my arm done. The next is going to be my other arm, across my chest, the center of my back, and the right obliques. If my legs get better, I am getting two calf area tats.

Arms: Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death (right arm) but the gift and grace of god is eternal life in heaven (left arm)
Pictoral Representations of both sides of the verse.

Fingers: Pray Hard
Wrists: Prayer Beads
Top of Hands: Holy Trinity Symbol

Across chest: My son's name Cristian Shoulder to shoulder
Right Oblique: Aku Soku San. (Slay Evil Immediately) Japanese Symbols (Pronounced Akh-sOkh-zan)

Center of back: Devil's Trap Symbol

Dude are you thinking about breaking skin and getting inked up? If so let me know and I'll send you to my guy.

I have several friends who are Tattoo artists. Before I got one, my buddy who did mine said he has 2 rules about getting a tat. Never get one on a whim. Think about it for a few months. If you still want it then, you've gave it proper thought and consideration. And, never get your first one where you have to have a mirror to see it.

Peace,
Austin

great art can get expensive and i dont have the time or money for it but have thought of a few meaningful things if ever i decide to get work done

Hit the nail on the head. I know 100% what I want and I can draw pretty well. It would be crazy big and detailed which equals BIG $$$. Probably $1500 at least. It would likely take up most of my back as well. I'm not sure I'm ready for that

I love tatts but not for bb'ing. Some don't look too bad on stage if it's in the right spot.

I tell you what. One weekend real soon we can make a road trip together so you can meet my guy and get an apx price. Welcome to the club.

Dude, I am covered with ink and I plan on getting more. Most that I have do tella story or they remind me of a special time in my life. I have dedicated the left side of my body to my evil past and the right side to all the good in my life. I got started a little late in life with the ink but since I retired from work I have gone and made up for the lost time...

Lol! I don't think I'm quite there yet. If the time comes where I am, we will definitely go. One of my biggest hesitations is definitely finding the right artist. Its life long thing. I never thought if consider it, but I am thinking about it more and more

That's crazy b/c that's a lot of what I'm thinking. It will represent my past, a cross roads in my life, and then my wife struggling to help me through my issues. It's something I've always thought of and having a little reminder and keeping the memory close appeals to me

Don't like tatoos on chicks. Most girls just get them cause it's in style (ie tramp stamp) like those emo rectangular glasses right now. I hate that shit. I don't know why a bodybuilder would work so hard on physiqe then cover it with ink.

Just remember, there is no hurry. A well thought out tattoo is priceless. I always include my wife in my planning because she is very creative and has a great eye for detail. Goog luck Dude...

Tattoos are a tricky topic for me. I have always found tattoos to be interesting, but I have always found it to be a silly idea of getting a tattoo in order to impress others or attract attention. A tattoo is on the skin for life, so it should be something with meaning behind it. I only have a few tattoos, but every one of them represents some significant idea or time in my life, or a combination of the two. I don't have them for other people even if they are visible to other people at times. They have always been for me, and about me. I have to admit, however, that I have seen some incredible artwork that I don't blame people for sharing or showing off.

Bad Ink is a funny show about tattoo cover ups, pretty amazing what kind of dumb shit people decided to put on their body for life! One chick had a cock tattoo where everyone could see it!

One chick had "You can't pop this cherry" tattooed over her pubic hairs,

One chick got a tattoo that said "No Regerts" lmao , how the fuck a tattoo artist spells Regrets wrong is way beyond me! lol,

Bad Ink is really funny, just started watching a couple shows after i seen the wife watching them
