Joseph Baena Leads Mike O’Hearn Through Workout To Pump Up Arms

Joseph Baena Leads Mike O’Hearn Through Workout To Pump Up Arms

Joseph Baena and Mike O’Hearn took viewers through an effective arm workout.
Joseph Baena has made headlines recently for his comments and deception involving the gym. Baena, who is the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, recently joined Mike O’Hearn for an arm workout to pump biceps and triceps.
O’Hearn has made waves as an all-natural bodybuilder that parlayed his career in modeling and acting. He has also appeared on the cover of many fitness magazines. Baena is another individual who has developed an impressive physique and is working to make a name for himself on the big screen.
Mike O’Hearn shared a video to his YouTube channel hitting arms with Baena at Gold’s Gym. Upon his arrival, Joseph Baena led the workout while the two gave different insights on how to build bigger arms.

Mike O’Hearn and Joseph Baena Hit Arms
In the video, there were just two exercises hit — dumbbell skull crushers and standing straight bar bicep curls. The workout might have went on longer but the video was kept to a minimum.

Baena began by explaining how he likes to get a full pump to begin arm day.
“So what I usually like to do with the triceps is superset with a little biceps to get the full pump. So you get the stretch, the squeeze on both ends,” Baena said.
The duo began performing skull crushers. Mike O’Hearn completed them first before looking at Baena’s form.
Joseph Baena attacked the workout with curled wrists as the dumbbells are being brought up. This is used instead of using a hammer grip. O’Hearn explained the intensity of this movement and shared his thoughts.

“I don’t know if you guys see this but to me it looks like he is on stage and he is posing through the exercise. Youngsters go – “Oh, he flexed through the whole exercise? You don’t just lift it?
You’re posing and moving the waist. If he knows it at that age before I knew it at that age, how much better is he gonna be than I ever was.”
Mike O’Hearn closed out the workout with some words of wisdom on how to approach each rep. It is important to focus on the technique of each rep in order to get the bet results.
“You don’t do 12 reps. You do one rep until you get to 12,” O’Hearn said.

PNBA Natural Olympia Classic Physique Masters Champ Tamer Barakat Details 8-Week Contest Prep

PNBA Natural Olympia Classic Physique Masters Champ Tamer Barakat Details 8-Week Contest Prep

PNBA Natural Olympia Classic Physique Masters champ Tamer Barakat details his change in nutrition and training during 8-week contest prep.
Generation Iron recently got an update on Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association (PNBA) Natural Olympia Classic Physique Masters champ, Tamer Barakat, preparing for competition. Barakat is currently undertaking an 8-week contest prep, and he says his nutrition and training regimen has changed compared to last year. Barakat stated:
“My prep this year is quite different from last year’s. I am doing much less cardio overall at this point, and keeping my caloric deficit smaller to slow down my weekly rate of loss (ROL) to 0.75-1.0 lb, which has helped me so far to hold on to all my muscle mass and get as conditioned at this point in prep like last years but at 3lbs heavier.
My training is quite different as well, a blood volume/progressive overload programming, at a much higher intensity and strength.”
Barakat is working with a coach. And they believe this change will bring a bigger and fuller look to step onto the Natural Olympia stage in better condition than last year. Tamer Barakat is the reigning Nautal Olympia Classic Physique Masters champion. And despite weighing 40-60 lbs less than the average Men’s Bodybuilding division, Barakat received 2nd place in Men’s Bodybuilding Grand Masters and fifth place in the Men’s Bodybuilding Open at 2021 Natural Olympia.
Tamer Barakat, Veganism, Olympic Lifting
Tamer Barakat has had quite a natural bodybuilding career thus far, and we all know your training regime and nutrition are vital to a bodybuilder’s success. However, Barakat’s training methodology isn’t quite the norm of a bodybuilder’s training protocol. He includes Olympic lifts, such as cleans and snatches, as part of his training program. Barakat believes including Olympic lifting in his weekly training will help him gain more strength and trigger a higher neuroendocrine response.
Tamer Barakat performs snatches and jump-roping in the clips below.

Regarding nutrition, Tamer Barakat swears veganism has played a significant role in his success. Barakat claims 90% of his nutrition comes from plant-based foods, which include spinach, mushrooms, quinoa, and oatmeal. Although, Tamer Barakat isn’t the only avid vegan INBA PNBA athlete. PNBA Michael Ferencsik is an overt vegan and animal rights activist. And Ferencsik attributes his 40-pound weight loss to his diet.
Tamer Barakat was the first vegan to sign a multi-media contract with Generation Iron, Iron Man Magazine, and INBA PNBA.
INBA PNBA Opportunites
Tamer Barakat is among other high-quality INBA PNBA athletes with good standing in the league to receive a multi-media contract. The contract gives INBA PNBA athletes an opportunity for professional growth and promotions. This includes brand building via digital media write-ups, social media posts, and photo shoots.
The INBA PNBA makes it a point to get their athletes in the spotlight and give them opportunities. For example, 3 INBA PNBA athletes were picked to appear in the upcoming bodybuilding movie starring Kristen Stewart, Ed Davis, and Dave Franco, Love Lies Bleeding. A film described as “a romance fueled by ego, desire, and the American dream.”

Eddie Hall vs Thor Lawsuit: Core Sports Wins $2.5 Million Case Against SEGI.TV

Eddie Hall vs Thor Lawsuit: Core Sports Wins $2.5 Million Case Against SEGI.TV

Eddie Hall vs Thor Lawsuit featured a war over $2.5 million.
The Eddie Hall vs Thor Bjornsson lawsuit features two major companies, Core Sports and SEGI, going to legal war over $2.5 million. Apparently Core Sports has not been paid by SEGI for putting on the event that took place in March 2022 in Dubai.
Well this is quite the turn of events. It appears that the boxing match between World’s Strongest Man champions Eddie Hall and Thor Bjornsson has produced another battle. According to reports Core Sports, responsible for putting on the boxing event, is suing Sycamore Entertainment Group Inc. (SEGI) for failure to receive $2.5 million. SEGI, the company responsible for streaming the boxing event, was due to pay $2.5 million for a license fee to Core Sports. That clearly did not happen as Core Sports has hit SEGI with a massive litigation case.
Chief Executive Officer of SEGI Edward A. Sylvan claimed to have wired $1.5 million to Core Sports back in April 2022. Sylvan said that the rest would be paid in full. However, it appears that wire transfer was actually fabricated. Core Sports executives have since sought legal action.
And from the sounds of it, this first case is just the beginning.
Just The Beginning
Core Sports’ Chief Executive Officer Don Idrees addressed the issue in a statement:

“Core Sports delivered fully on its obligations to SEGI, as did all of the hard-working vendors involved in the fight, except for SEGI itself.  While we are happy that the court has entered judgment against SEGI, this particular fight has only just started.  We are now investigating claim against SEGI’s officers and directors, as well as individuals and entities that we believe help SEGI to shield its assets.”

“Unfit to Run a Lemonade Stand”
Core Sports’ litigation attorney Steven A. Heath went for the jugular in a statement regard SEGI and it’s CEO Sylvan.

“The court’s entry of judgment on claims including fraud and breach of contract confirms what everyone in the industry already suspected – Edward Sylvan is unfit to run a lemonade stand, let alone a publicly-traded company.  After filing this lawsuit on June 2, 2022, we quickly obtained bank records indicating that SEGI uses a separate company, Silau LLC, to receive and disburse its cash.  We are reviewing closely this arrangement, with a view to bringing further litigation against SEGI’s officers, directors, and advisors, as well as Silau, LLC itself.”

What does this mean for Eddie Hall and Thor Bjornsson themselves? Not much really. They went out and did their jobs after all. The unfortunate part is that this legal case leaves a bit of black eye on the event itself. Many people that helped to make the event what it was didn’t get paid. It’s a truly an unfortunate turn of events in that regard.
What do you think about this massive legal case?

Jay Cutler Discusses Top Picks For 2022 Olympia: “There Is A Lot Of Good Talent Here”

Jay Cutler Discusses Top Picks For 2022 Olympia: “There Is A Lot Of Good Talent Here”

Jay Cutler believes the top five could look exactly the same as last year.
Jay Cutler has discussed the state of the 2022 Olympia many times in recent months. Whether it is up-and-comers or the overall look of competitors, Cutler has been vocal about the sport of bodybuilding. Recently, Cutler spoke on the biggest show of the year and shared his top five.
Cutler knows a thing or two about the Olympia stage. He is known as one of the best bodybuilders of all-time, totaling four titles over the course of his career. Cutler also finished as the runner-up four times. He had some legendary battles with Ronnie Coleman when they were both in his prime.
The Men’s Open division in bodybuilding has a clear top tier and it showed during the 2021 event. Cutler answered some questions about the upcoming show and believes that it could look the same this time around.

Jay Cutler Speaks On The Overall Talent In Open Bodybuilding
Jay Cutler shared a recent video on his YouTube account going through a Q&A session with fans online. He was answering different questions sent in about the Olympia and of course, fans wanted to know if Big Ramy could be taken down.
Cutler began by discussing Michal Krizo, who is one of the biggest up-and-comers in bodybuilding. He recently made the switch to NPC from IFBB Elite Pro. This is so he can earn his Pro Card and eventually step on the Olympia stage. As of now, Krizo does not have his Pro Card but it could move quickly.
“You see new people popping up every week. This Michael Krizo, who, hasn’t even got his Pro Card yet. I expect him to make a run and possibly be on that stage,” Cutler said.

Cutler believes Krizo could be one of the breakthrough competitors, if he is able to earn a Pro Card. Other than that, there is a lot of talent that could take the next step.
Jay Cutler moved onto individual competitors as questions were sent in. He believes that Nick Walker has the size to in the show but has to work on his conditioning. Cutler also said that Hadi Choopan has the chance to be one of the shorter bodybuilders to win the Olympia.
“I expect Walker to really push this year, I think if he can figure out a little better conditioning, he really could be a big problem.
We love history. As much as we would like to see Ramy win, could Hadi be another shorter bodybuilder like Dexter Jackson to win the Olympia? I am a fan of all of these guys.”
The 2022 Olympia has a chance to be one of the most exciting shows in recent memory if all competitors show up in their best shape. It will be interesting to see if there will be any breakthrough athletes take form.

VIDEO: Liver King Quickly Eats Full Stick Of Butter In One Sitting

VIDEO: Liver King Quickly Eats Full Stick Of Butter In One Sitting

Liver King shared a video that might go viral for a new reason.
Liver King has become a viral sensation for his unique way of living. Brian Johnson has adapted the nine ancestral traits into his life, including eating raw meats on a daily basis. He has built a sculpted physique and gained plenty of attention from the public. This time, Johnson could be going viral for a different reason.
On Instagram, Liver King shared a video of himself eating an entire stick of butter in one sitting. In the caption, he encouraged his following to switch out margarine in favor of butter.
“It’s no secret that Liver King loves butter, and you should too. It’s a helluva lot better for you than the alternatives.
Don’t get wrapped around the axle or get into endless debates with sub-primals… avoid trans fats & seed oils and ditch the margarine.”

He pushes for butter because it is a way to add fats following workouts. He believes this is important to “lather generously.”
“Take massive action and pick up the grass-fed grass-finished butter.
If you’re putting in the work (which you should be)… lather generously. Use fat for fuel, dominate.”

Is Liver King Natural?
The main question that has come up around the social media sensation is wondering whether he is all natural. He has disputed the claims that he is on steroids and credits his way of living and hard work for his massive physique.
RELATED: Joe Rogan Refutes Liver King Natural Claim: “Just Shut The F*** Up”
He has been seen many times eating meals consisting of raw liver, brains, organs, and even testicles.

Joe Rogan has been against Liver King’s claims since the beginning. He made a public statement claiming Liver King has “an ass full of steroids.” After disputing these rumors from Rogan, he offered to go on the podcast and discuss the nine ancestral traits. This would be an all-time episode if the two were able to get together.
Aside from raw meats, Johnson has other beliefs about nutrition and it seems as though he is a big fan of butter. His recent Instagram post shows that he is not afraid to eat anything, no matter how much.

PNBA Men’s Physique Natural Olympia Champ William Long Explains Why He’s Moving to Classic Physique

PNBA Men’s Physique Natural Olympia Champ William Long Explains Why He’s Moving to Classic Physique

3x Men’s Physique Natural Olympia champ William Long explains why he’s shifting divisions.
The 3x Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association (PNBA) Men’s Physique Natural Olympia champ William Long is pivoting from the Men’s Physique category to the Classic Physique category.
William Long is known as “The OG” after becoming the first PNBA Men’s Physique Natural Olympia champ. In addition, Long was the first natural athlete to sign a multi-media contract with INBA PNBA, Generation Iron, and Iron Man Magazine.
Although he won’t compete in the Men’s Physique class this year, he’s the reigning champion. After getting in touch with William Long, he told us why he’s changing divisions. Long stated:
“I feel that I’ve accomplished a lot and made my mark in the Men’s Physique division and that it’s time for a new challenge. I became the first Natural Olympia champion of that division and will end as a Champion, having won it 3x.
I also believe my physique has progressed past the standards of the division. I love the overall look and representation of classic physique. I love the artful display of the posing.
I believe I can be competitive in the classic division. My training hasn’t changed. I still train hard and with intensity. My main focus though is my overall leg development. There’s no hiding them in boardshorts with the classic physique division.”
William Long says he’s taking this year off to focus on sculpting his physique for the Classic Physique category. He plans to make his debut early next summer. Right now, Long is hovering around 185-190 lbs, which he says is 25-30 lbs over his stage weight.
Here’s a recent Instagram post from William Long showing off his triceps gains:

Classic Physique Vs. Men’s Physique
As Long mentioned, leg development in the Classic Physique division is much more critical than in the Men’s Physique class. That’s because competitors wear board shorts in the Men’s Physique class. Also another noticeable difference between the two divisions is the size. Although muscularity and size, muscle shape and fullness, and muscle density are essential for judging for both classes, Classic Physique athletes are bigger and follow a different posing regimen.
William Long dominated the Men’s Physique category, and the Classic Physique will bring new challenges. For example, he’ll have to increase his leg hypertrophy and overall size. Plus, he’ll be competing against the reigning Classic Physique Natural Olympia champ Derek Joe and 3x Classic Physique Natural Olympia champion Brandon Lirio.
It’ll be interesting to see who is crowned victorious in the Classic Physique category at next year’s Natural Olympia since it’s filled with many champs. And another intriguing obscurity will be who takes over the Men’s Physique division. After suffering a deadlifting injury, PNBA Danairo Moore says he has more motivation to place in the top five and even two at this year’s Natural Olympia.
