Arnold Schwarzenegger Reveals BMW IX Commercial Playing Zeus
Arnold Schwarzenegger will be featured in a Super Bowl commercial as Zeus.
It has been two weeks since Arnold Schwarzenegger teased a project of himself playing Zeus. Now, he has revealed that fans will be able to see his performance during the Super Bowl.
Schwarzenegger will join Salma Hayek in a promotion for the new BMW electric model. This is an ad that opens at Mt. Olympus where the pair are planning to retire and head to Palm Beach, CA. Schwarzenegger shared a post on his Instagram to give fans a sneak peek.
“I had such a blast filming with @salmahayek for @BMWUSA! Now…GET TO THE CHARGER!! @BMW #BMWElectric #ad“
The Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams will battle on the field in the final game of the NFL season. Off the field, fans can also enjoy the Halftime Show and commercials that have become such a big part of the night. Companies know the attraction that football brings. Of the top-10 most watched television programs in the history of the United States, eight spots are taken up by Super Bowls.
On average, companies will spect upwards of $7 million for a 30-second ad during the big game. In 2020, there was a total of nearly $450 million spent to provide entertaining commercials. BMW will not get into the mix and feature two big names as part of their campaign.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has always had a passion for acting. Following a legendary bodybuilding career that dubbed him the greatest of all-time, he appeared on the big screen in many memorable roles. This includes The Terminator series and The Expendables.
Salma Hayek is another big figure in Hollywood who has been part of some huge projects in her career. Hayek has been nominated for an Emmy award four times for her work as a director and producer for television shows. This collaboration is not one that many have seen coming but it is bound to be an entertaining and successful ad.
There have been many famous Super Bowl ads that have remained relevant over the years. Arnold Schwarzenegger and BMW might have the next great one on deck. Fans will have to wait until Sunday to see the big reveal but the legendary bodybuilder was not shy about giving a sneak peek.

Martyn Ford Trains With Kickboxer Rico Verhoeven Preparing For Boxing Match With Iranian Hulk
Martyn Ford has been taking the time to learn from experienced fighters before stepping in the ring.
Just one day after Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall set a date for their anticipated fight, there is another that remains high on the radar. Bodybuilder Martyn Ford is preparing to take on Sajad Gharibi, better known as the Iranian Hulk, on April 2 in London. Ford is training from some of the top fighters around in order to be fully prepared to step in the ring.
Ford recently teamed up with world champion kickboxer Rico Verhoeven for a training session. The bodybuilder shared videos on Instagram of some of the training methods that were implemented. This includes sparring and some work on instincts.
“I mean, I would like to say it was close …. BUT I’d be lying ???, what an incredible morning of education. Absolutely love LOVE LOVE this sport, the only way you learn, is to push your comfort zones. I think sharing the ring with the world champ, is definitely doing that …. @ricoverhoeven my brother ?? #champ#brother #levels @superpro_sportcenter thank you guys for all you do????”
Verhoeven still holds his championship that was acquired in 2014. He is one of the best fighters in the world and has plenty to offer as a coach. With Ford preparing to step in the ring against another behemoth, he will have to be ready.
Martyn Ford will enter the fight at 39 years old, which is 10 years older than the Iranian Hulk. He has an advantage in height, being 6-foot-9, while Gharibi will carry around 100 pounds more of bodyweight. Ford also has experience performing in MMA, boxing, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. This is not the first time these two have been linked in a fight but it is the first time that there is an official date and plan.
In 2019, both fighters signed contracts to fight in the Polish MMA KSW but this did not come to fruition. Now, they will have a chance to settle their differences in the ring and put on a much-anticipated show.
It is clear that both fighters want to get the best of the other and that is why Martyn Ford is putting in the work that he is. With the guidance of some of the elite fighters in the world, Ford could perfect his skills and show great improvement when he takes on the Iranian Hulk.

Phil Heath Looks Monstrous During Chest, Shoulders, and Tricep Workout
Phil Heath continues to look huge during his days off the stage.
Phil Heath has not competed since the 2020 Olympia but he has remained active in the gym. The 42-year-old bodybuilder has been rumored to make a return to the stage since that Olympia competition, where he finished third, but there is no plan as of yet. This does not mean that Heath is done training. He continues to look huge in a recent video sharing an incredible workout routine.
Heath took to Instagram and his YouTube page to share the workout. He focused primarily on chest but sprinkled in some shoulder and tricep work throughout the routine. Heath used machines and discussed they importance of eccentric work.
“You can be hungry for greatness but that ain’t good enough! YOU HAVE TO BE FN STARVING!!! STOP LOOKING FOR COMPETITION TO PUSH YOU! LOOK IN THE DAMN MIRROR BC THAT PERSON YOU SEE IS GOING TO BE THE REASON YOU WIN OR FAIL! #7XMROLYMPIA #PHILHEATH”
Phil Heath began the workout with supersets of seated chest flyer and seated presses. This was a bit of a warmup before he started to intensify his actions. This continued with inclined bench presses but Heath decided to use a machine. He usually performs this movement on the hammer strength inclined bench press.
Heath continued with another superset of pec deck flies and seated chest press. This was a set to hit the lower chest and he did not take much time between for rest. Seated chest flyes completed the chest portion before moving onto shoulders. Lateral raises and front raise medleys were the two sets on the schedule for Heath.
During his career, Phil Heath was a monstrous competitor and this has continued during his time off the stage. He has the second most Olympia victories in history with seven. His last title came in 2017 before being named the runner-up in 2018. Heath took the 2019 competition off before finishing third in 2020.
Heath ended his day with tricep pushdowns with a V-bar before giving some insight on training. He might not return to the stage but Heath’s passion and knowledge of bodybuilding is still there. This gives him a chance to share his wisdom with the next generation.
Fans will still continue to hope for Phil Heath to return to the stage but it seems like a long shot at this point. Now, he is focused on sharing huge workouts for others to try. This will allow him to help change the fortune of others and continue to improve the sport of bodybuilding.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Releases 2022 List of Banned Substances for Natural Athletes
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has released the 2022 list of banned substances for professional athletes.
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is the strictest drug testing standard in professional sports – the Olympics abide by this. WADA-compliant laboratories are superior enough to detect substances that may go unnoticed in other drug testing labs. The sport of natural bodybuilding prohibits drugs. Although, some natural bodybuilding organizations don’t follow the best drug testing procedures. However, the International Natural Bodybuilding Association (INBA)/Professional Natural Bodybuilding Association (PNBA) follows WADA guidelines. Here’s what INBA PNBA’s Instagram (IG) page said regarding WADA’s updated prohibited banned substances 2022 list:
“For the past 30+ years the INBA PNBA’s foundation has been built on belief and respect for Drug-Free Sports.
Providing an even playing field for Elite Natural Athletes is a passion of ours globally, and will forever continue to be.
WADA is the highest level of testing administered for professional sports with a sensitivity level to pick up significant amounts of performance enhancements.”
Thus, athletes that fail to obey these standards will get placed on the Hall of Shame – a public embarrassment collection with all INBA PNBA competitors that have failed a drug test. Additionally, they’ll be stripped of their title and prizes and never earn a multi-media deal with Generation Iron, INBA PNBA, and Iron Man Magazine.
You can see the INBA PNBA’s complete IG statement below. You’ll also see a snippet of the Hall of Shame and where to find the list of banned substances.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/CZvI8sAlY2J/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Why WADA?
High Sensitivity Level
For starters, WADA is the most elite drug standard available for professional athletes. Also, drug tests often go unnoticed through other methods. For instance, the former 2021 Natural Olympia champion passed drug testing procedures in the United States Bodybuilding Federation (USBF). However, she failed the drug test administered at 2021 Natural Olympia, which inevitably led to her being stripped of her title and placed on the notorious Hall of Shame mentioned previously.
As the INBA PNBA stated, “WADA is the highest level of testing administered for professional sports with a sensitivity level to pick up significant amounts of performance enhancements.” As a result, WADA laboratories can detect substances that may otherwise go unseen in other methods.
Even Playing Field
Furthermore, since WADA is the best set of doping regulations for professional sports, it’s the only drug test that ensures an even playing field. Natural bodybuilders work hard for their physiques. Consequently, it’s only just that the winners play fair.
Below is a Generation Iron (GI) exclusive clip from GI’s film Generation Iron: Natty 4 Life. This take explains more of the drug testing process the INBA PNBA follows.

Although some athletes and fans are skeptical if natural athletes are natural, INBA PNBA competitors are less likely to pass drug tests. INBA PNBA contenders are subject to in-season and out-of-season drug testing.
WADA Prohibited Substances
Click here for a complete breakdown of WADA’s 2022 list of banned substances.
Above all, WADA is the best set of drug testing standards accessible for professional athletes. And WADA is the metric the most renowned natural bodybuilding organization – INBA PNBA – uses. For sure, any athlete who fails a drug test can’t hide in the INBA PNBA as they do in other leagues. The Hall of Shame makes sure of that.

Hafthor Bjornsson vs. Eddie Hall Boxing Match Reportedly Set For March 19
There might finally be a date for Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall to meet in the ring.
The much-anticipated fight between Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall might finally have a date. On Wednesday, Core Sports revealed that the fight between strongmen turned boxers is scheduled to take place on March 19 at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.
The announcement was made on Instagram but Core Sports has since taken down their post. Also, the date has been removed from promoters’ websites.
On Feb. 2, Hafthor Bjornsson shared a video of himself training and revealed that the fight would take place in March. No official date was set at the time. March was the anticipated date for months now but this was pure speculation. It seems to be coming into form in recent weeks.
“MARCH IT IS. FIGHT IS ON. LET’S FUCKING PRAY EDDIE DOESN’T BACK OUT AGAIN!!! ??”
Eddie Hall also teased a fight date recently with his own video preparing. He was forced to pull his name out of the original match that was scheduled for September 2021 with an injury. Hall quickly rehabbed the injury and got back in the gym to prepare for this fight.
Hall backed up the notion that fight dates were close to being announced.
“JUST CAUSE YOU DON’T SEE IT’ DOESN’T MEAN IT ISN’T HAPPENING ?
IM READY ? FIGHT DATES BEING RELEASED VERY SOON. STAY TUNED?
BEAST VS MOUNTAIN ? ? ?”
This match will be between the only two men who have deadlifted 500kg. The feud began during their time in strongman. Hall held the deadlift world record of 500kg until it was broken by Bjornsson, who pulled 501kg.
Hafthor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall were at the top of powerlifting for years before making the transition. Hall won the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2017 before Bjornsson took home the honor the following year. Now, the world has been waiting to see the two get together in the ring for quite some time now.
There is a date that has been linked to the event but as of now, it is not official. March 19 seems to be the date to watch. There will be updates made as more information becomes available.

Andrew Jacked Trains Legs, Gets Posing Tips From Flex Wheeler
Flex Wheeler took some time to give advice to Andrew Jacked ahead of his next competition.
Andrew Jacked is preparing to turn some heads during the 2022 Arnold Classic Amateur coming up. The winner of the show will earn his Pro Card and qualify for the 2023 Arnold Classic. Recently, Jacked was seen training with a legendary bodybuilder who knows a thing or two about the Arnold Classic. Flex Wheeler joined Andrew Jacked for a leg day and shared some posing advice following the session.
Wheeler won the Arnold Classic four times during his illustrious career. He is still active in the bodybuilding world sharing his wisdom and this time, it was with one of the up-and-coming talents. Jacked has been working with Wheeler, and Milos Sarcev, as he attempts to earn his Pro Card at the Arnold Amateur.
Andrew Jacked took to Instagram to show a massive leg day, along with some posing, with Wheeler.
“Heavy presses, Light Presses Same Reps Same Mentality Same Goal. Stay Focused on The Mission!
Yesszzziirrr !!!@officialflexwheelerFlex wheeler athlete”
Flex Wheeler does not train Andrew Jacked regularly but this is not the first time that the duo has gotten together. Back in December, the two were seen together as Jacked was preparing for what could be a special 2022 season. He has a chance to have a massive year that involves his Pro Card and an automatic qualification to the second biggest bodybuilding show of the year.
It is clear that Andrew Jacked has focused on his legs as an area of improvement. There are noticeable changes to his quads and hamstrings over the last few months. Jacked is not shy about posting physique updates and when he does, he looks better than the one before. This is important as he enters the 2022 season leading up to the Arnold Classic Amateur.
Jacked has not hesitated to reach out to some of the biggest names in the sport and this is not a bad path to take. Wheeler has competed at the Olympia seven times taking home four top-three finishes, including three silver medals. He is one of the best Arnold Classic competitors ever with four victories. He trails only Dexter Jackson, who won the event five times.
Andrew Jacked looks the part of an IFBB professional and he will have a chance to take that final step. With the help of Flex Wheeler and other bodybuilding legends, Jacked could be ready to win the Arnold Classic Amateur.

15-Year-Old Morgan Nicholls Deadlifts 525 Pounds For A Triple
Morgan Nicholls is one of the prodigies in powerlifting.
When someone says age is just a number, they are usually talking about getting older. In the case of Morgan Nicholls, it can be used because of his incredible strength at such a young age. Th 15-year-old powerlifting prodigy recently showed another impressive lift when he pulled 238kg (525lb) three times in a recent training session.
Nicholls stepped up to the weight with a lifting belt and wrist straps. He dominated the first two reps before having to work hard to complete the third. After locking out three reps, he dropped the weight and had another big-time lift under his belt.
“Heavy Deads ☠️ today – ended up tripling my max but had to leave a little blood on the platform to get the third one ? top set 525×3”
Morgan Nicholls is currently a high school student who excels on the football field. He is a two-way player that can be seen at running back or middle linebacker. At 15 years old, powerlifting is nothing new to Nicholls. He burst onto the scene at the age of 12 and continues to make significant progress with his lifts.
Nicholls is the son of Chad Nicholls, a bodybuilding coach and nutritionist who has worked with some of the best of all-time. This includes eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman and reigning two-time champ Big Ramy. Morgan’s mother, Kim Chizevsky Nicholls, won four consecutive Ms. Olympia titles during her career from 1996-1999. She was named to the IFBB Hall of Fame after what was a legendary career.
In 2020, Morgan Nicholls made his only appearance at a competition during the SPF GP Summer Slash. He won gold in the Teen 13-15 division and 90kg category. He set official PRs of 204.1kg (450lb) squat, 147.4kg (325lb) bench press, and 206.3kg (455lb) deadlift. This was for a total of 557.9kg (1,230lb). Not a bad showing from a 13 year old.
This competition was two years ago now and Morgan Nicholls has continued to beat his PRs. This will only continue as he matures and gets older. To this point, Nicholls has shared his massive lifts on social media. His gym PRs feature a 226.8kg (500lb) squat and 188.2kg (415lb) bench press. This deadlift of 525 pounds is his current PR and he was able to do it for three reps. For reference, his squat and bench press PR would be world records in the 90kg category and Teen 13-15 division.
Morgan Nicholls continues to be a phenom in powerlifting and a name that will be around for a long time. It is unknown when he will take the stage next but we do know that if he competes, it will be a must-see event.

The Upper Body Workout Men’s Classic Physique Athlete Henrik Edstrom Does Weeks Before Natural Olympia
Men’s Classic Physique INBA PNBA athlete Henrik Edstrom demonstrates upper body workout weeks before the 2021 Natural Olympia.
Choosing the right upper body workouts is imperative for the results you want. The correct movements are even more critical for natural bodybuilding INBA PNBA professionals since they compete against the most elite natural physique athletes on the planet. In certain parts of the year, natural bodybuilders will focus more on cutting or bulking, and the same can be said for the different exercises athletes do to prep for competition. Depending on the time of year and the muscle group a natural bodybuilder is focusing on, will determine which exercises they do.
As the biggest natural bodybuilding event globally – Natural Olympia – approached in 2021, Men’s Classic Physique competitor Henrik Edstrom demonstrated on social media what a total upper body workout session looks like for him.
In an Instagram (IG) post on Ocobober 26, 2021, Henrick Edstrom said:
“Upper body focus. Great session today. Have been able to add weight consistently on all lifts over the last 3 blocks despite cutting BF. Less than 3 weeks out from the Natural Olympia.”
Henrick Edstrom’s workout helped him clinch a top ten spot (seventh) in the Men’s Classic Physique division at 2021 Natural Olympia.
Henrick Edstrom’s Natural Olympia Upper Body Workout
Below is the upper body workout Henrick Edstrom performed just three weeks before the 2021 Natural Olympia.

Henrick Edstrom blended an excellent mix of compound, isolation, and Olympic movements for his upper body workout before hitting the Natural Olympia stage in 2021. He performed big compound movements for his chest and back like barbell bench press and barbell seal row. And he mixed in cable rope tricep extensions to target his triceps. Edstrom also made sure to include the Olympic lift jerk press for an explosive movement targeting his whole body.
Natural Olympia
Natural Olympia is home to the most significant natural bodybuilding competition worldwide. And it’s no surprise that it’s hosted by the INBA PNBA – the most prominent natural bodybuilding league. INBA PNBA competitors train for many bodybuilding shows throughout the year, but Natural Olympia is the one they want to show up in the best conditioning. It’s the Super Bowl for natural bodybuilders. And doing well at this show will increase athletes’ chances of signing a muli-media deal with Iron Man Magazine.
Generation Iron (GI) had an entire camera crew on the ground capturing the best moments at 2021 Natural Olympia held November 11-13th, 2021. Below you can watch a behind-the-scenes Generation Iron clip.

Ronnie Coleman Shares Workout Video Showing Massive Arms
Ronnie Coleman is continuing to look massive in the gym during workout sessions.
Ronnie Coleman is one of the best bodybuilders of all-time and continues to be an influential voice in the sport. Even during his years off the stage, Coleman has made sure to keep his physique in great shape. He recently showed it off with a workout video where he is pumping up his arms and looking massive.
Coleman shared the video on Instagram where he is seen performing bicep curls. He is now 15 years removed from his final Olympia competition but that has not stopped his progression in the gym at 57 years old.
“yeah Buddy, we got those Lightweight Baby t-shirts in Blurry. Sometimes your vision is blurred when lifting those Lightweights Baby!!!! Go to ronniecoleman.net to get yours.”
Ronnie Coleman completed upwards of 20 reps with each arm. He is currently training six days a week and completes stem-cell treatments. Thanks to his recent work in the gym, Coleman has been able to bulk up to 285 pounds. This is an incredible feat after some health risks that have kept Coleman out of training.
Since 2017, Coleman has went through 13 surgeries. There are still some effects from those surgeries but Coleman has been able to get himself the necessary treatment to continue his good health. This is no surprise given his passion for fitness and drive in the gym.
Ronnie Coleman sported a physique during his prime that is almost unbeatable. He won eight consecutive Olympia titles from 1998-2005. These are included in his 26 total victories as an IFBB professional. In 2006, Jay Cutler defeated Coleman and put an end to his streak. His final Olympia came in 2007, where he placed fourth. Even after retiring from competition, Coleman continues to make an impact.
During the 2021 Arnold Classic, Coleman was given the Lifetime Achievement Award from the event. He gave a speech that will not soon be forgotten. He recently had a chance to reflect on that moment and describes it as extremely difficult and emotional. Coleman was the right choice for the award last year because of all he has gone through and his perseverance to improve his health.
This recent workout video shows that Ronnie Coleman continues to be a freak of nature. Despite multiple surgeries, the legendary bodybuilder has figured out was to keep his body in tremendous shape.
