So I have been away for a while. I hurt my back as well as some others and was diagnosed as having herniated disks and pressure on my sciatic.
Im doing much better and getting back to the gym slowly.
I have some muscle atrophy and some sagging muscles.
Any recommendations on supplements from you guys that I can take into consideration.?
Im lifting but not heavy for awhile, just light to get the muscle back up to par..
I missed you bastards!

I just went through the same thing, 3 herniated discs, sitting on my nerve and i had to get epidurla shots through my neck into my back/spine, and i sat out of gym for many many months, and lost loads of size and strentgh, and i have only been back in gym for about 4-5 weeks now and was out since last march or april and sat around all summer and couldnt move the pain was so bad, so anyhow yeah been back a month or so now and u have to go slow and steady

I thought i would have been back to where i left off by now, but im not, its taking longer then expected however im defiantlyt get back into it!

My advice is to go slow, and dont re injure yourself, its worked for me thus far bro!

Good to see you back brutha

Thanks Presser,
I started up on creatine, and NOX along with two different kinds of protein, I had shots in my back too helping some but still very stiff and painkillers dont work for shit! I went last night lifting 20lbs for bi's and almost cried..my weight was at least 3 x's that before.

Its tough but at least I know im not alone so any advice I will definately take in.

yeah bro pain meds dont help a whole lot, but they do help a little for me, they have me on these patches and they help somewhat well!

And yeah i felt like giving up totaly my first week back, my strentgh was so bad and my body was gone, it looked like I was walking around in someone elses body!

Well nothing can really help herniaed disks as far as supps but I'd stay going light and try igf, do not push it

At thi point I just wantnto reduce the muscle atrophy and get the tone feeling and look back. i believe once i strengthen my muscles back I can reduce the pain and ge back to semi-normal. This is also from the rehab folks as well.. hear ya press I feel all brokeback..lol

Definitely take some BCAA during your workout to help with muscle soreness. I've been switching between SciVation's EXTEND and Prescription Nutrition's Amino Infusion

Thanks OX, I did a bunch of work at home, and work then the gym and it was a little to much for my back..messed myself up.

Presser i triedone of those patches my doc gave me it worked well, but honestly the hot tub and deep tissue massage has been working wonders for me.
