train twice a day ?

i read every now and again about people training twice a day and tomorrow i think im going to start it. my ? is training hard twice a day using different muscles smart i mean like legs in the morn like 9am for 1hr and then back at like 4pm for an hour. if i have enough sleep, and really watch my diet, everything should be fine right. the main reason im doing this is to increase my strength and cut more fat. oh yeah and 30 min of cardio after each liftin session. i really would appreciate anyone thoughts on this. thanx again.i love this place. :)
 
i like splits myself when time allows, and also split those legs up bro quads and hams seperate it helps
 
i do split as well.just do some research so you aren't working muscle groups that need rest,to close together.(i.e.back/bi's)
if you do back you are inatvertently working bi's.
 
i do 2 sessions a day but i do cardio every morning and train either abs, calves or hams. then i work the others groups at night but no cardio at night yet. I will when i get closer to the show.
 
I just started a 2 workout a day routine myself and so far things are going great ! I would have a light day and a heavy day for the same body part ie when you hit chest the first time hit it heavy when you roll around again to chest go light !

aww man

first day doing a double day..im spent. legs and back. whewww. feels good though now its time for a meal emmmm foood. thanx all for the replies and advice
 
no way I could train legs and back on the same day.....deadlifts AND squats on the same day??? WHEW!!!
