Basic Ice cream custard
2 cups heavy cream
4 egg yolks
1/2 vanilla bean slit open and scraped
8 packets sugar substitue.
Heat cream in a heavy sauce pan over a low heat.
Whisk in 1 egg yolk at atime
Remove from heat and cool
Whisk in 1 pack sugar substitute at a time
Now the custard is ready for the ingredients that make it ice cream.
