problem with gaining bodyfat

I am 6'1 6'2 and about 240 pounds, bodyfat is not extremley high, but fairly high... I dropped it alot in the past 3 months..

I still have high bf in some areas..

However, I am trying to gain mass now... The problem is, I notice that I'm gaining fat back while gaining mass..

I am consuming 300 - 400 grams of protien a day, 200 or more carbs..

I am not doing any cardio, strictly lifting..

I am all natrual, only products i take is protien shakes, creatine, zma, flaxseed oil, ALA, multi vitamin, and twinlab amino fuel..

Does anyone know what supplements I can add or changes I can make to continue adding mass without bodyfat, I do not want to start fully cutting up yet unless I have to..

Do cardio. You WILL notice a difference. At least 3 times per week as MailboxKillR mentioned. Indeed you did not mention fat intake. How many grams are you trying to keep in under? I notice for carbs you said 200 or more, try to do say 200 OR LESS. Have you unsed ECA's? Those work for many people.

Just keep on keeping on. You will notice a difference after some time. Good luck brother. And Welcome to MC if you have not already done an intro post, lol.

I don't think doing a little cardio will give you the results your looking for.I am of the opinion that you have got to get LEAN first,then you can start to add mass.I say this from personal experience-from 264# fat ass to 204 on stage-16 weeks all natural-yes hard as hell-am cardio 1 hr ED on empty gut-ketosis sucks but 2 years later,on stage at 231 and hard as nails!-Cut now-get to 215 or 220-get all 6 abs in then you're lean-now bulk away and you'll be amazed at how your body responds-your diet will also dictate your results-gotta eat 6 or 7 times a day-your nutrient breakdown looks ok depending on how you respond to carbs-I think you need to really see what you have and you'll also be better able to see results-Lastly-do a cycle!-Also pm Weird Al and get his opinion on the matter

Thanks for the welcome and all the info everyone

I have used E/C/A's before..

I am going to start cutting in another 3 weeks or so..

I am going to lower carb intake, intense cardio and get an E/C/A stack

My next supp order will only include a protien supplement, ALA and flaxseed oil along with an E/C/A

Does anyone know something good to use?

I heard nutrex lipo-6 and Clenbutrx by VPX is good, anyone have any comments on these products or know better E/C/As to use?

Thanks

cardio will get the job done i can see you're desperate to achieve your goal..so do cardio 3x a week for 45mins..drink a protein shake before or after you do cardio..i sugg. stairs walk..

as everyone else said, throwing light cardio back into the mix, will take care of it.

I agree with RC here (except for the cycle part, that's a personal decision)!

I would also add that you need to let your body get used to it's new lower bf%. Let's say you lived in olden times (not the 70s) and you were a huge beast but suddenly times got tough. You wandered around looking for food and in the process you burned a lot of fat. What would happen if you eventually found food? You'd eat it and quickly move back to your original bf%. That's what your body thinks it should be.

If you don't like that answer then do more cardio and take some anti-e's. I know you're natural but the more fat you have the more aromatise you produce. The more aromatise the more test converts into estrogen. Happens to naturals too.

Another great response by LA

Sorry-I don't mean to "influence" anyone-perhaps better stated-"I think every male on the planet should do 1 12 weeker in his life"-just my opinion!

I thought that that was part of the package when bulking- fat gain. Bear in mind, there is more muscle being accumulated under that fat than if you were just trying to put on muscle and stay lean at the same time. Muscle is harder to gain than fat is to burn, so keep that in mind. Read LA's piece in the new E-Zine for more insight. Throwing some cardio in there, too, couldn't hurt, but that will burn up more calories that you are in desperate need of if bulking, so it seems to be a double-edge sword. I would say that if you are doing a serious bulker, and have the discipline, then eat big, but clean, and to hell with cardio until it is time to cut. If on gear, you would perhaps be able to admire more of a muscle gain, thus dimming the light currently shed on your fat gain, but gear is not an issue here, so your situation is what it is. Nonetheless, gear or no gear, fat is to be had and accepted if bulking. Good luck, bro.

You are correct-That is why it is called BULKING-You are consuming calories of any type!

To assist one on a bulker try a can Hormel Chili:

* 32 grams of protein
* 68 grams of carbs
* 540 calories

Indeed. Good stuff.

I totally agree w/RC I am going to diet back down to being lean before I start bulking b/c it makes the gains a lot easier.....
