creatine / bodyweight

I am 240 pounds with about 18% bf...

What I am trying to figure out is if i should be consuming more than 10g of creatine daily, which is what almost every label recommends.. But there is people who are 140 pounds consuming that ammount.. I would think that the same dosage wouldnt effect people with different bodyweights the same way..

I have been taking 20gs a day..

What does everyone else here do at their bodyweight?
 
I only take creatine when I workout, about 10-15 grams 1 hour before. Other than creatine only adds water and bloating. there are many studies that say this and that, but this is what works for me 10-15 grams only on workout days. if you take too much your body will tell you. you get the shits. LOL I am 237 and thats all I take

Ok, now i think im taking too much, 15 may be good :)
 
I respond great to the packaging insructions...I dont do anything special. Also I gaines 5lbs in a month with creatine and kept it all after stopping...In some people it has a steroid like affect..It can make you powerfull fast bro....I also would recomend this stuff to folks with flat asses..It seems to go right for the but and legs...I couldn't get them to grow...with a little creatine the popped nicely...A WARNING= If you choose to load do ith the right way, If you miss a dose do not double the next! I did something like that...I would do forty grams to make up for it..It doesnt work and can mess up your kidneys bro...It's great stuff!

I am using Phosphagen HP (I am currently off-cycle) at a rate of 5 grams a day. I did the five day loading period of 20 grams a day, starting right after the conclusion of my cycle. I chose Phosphagen HP over everything else only because I found it for $17 for 4 lbs. I took my last shot six weeks ago and have since lost some strength on bench and military press (deads, squats, and everything else are the same as on-cycle) and have lost only three pounds. From that, it is tough to say the benefit I am getting from the creatine. It looks like most of you guys are using a minimum of 10 grams a day though.
 
I used the gnc brand c monohydrate...Stay away from the efervecent( damn spellin) junk and that muscle tek stuff...I cant drink that stuff...it like pure sugar! I put the regular c in anything and theres no taste....I also gotta have glutamine....I think those two are must haves....after loading...(4 days...40g day) c I always do at least 10 grams...As for the l-glutamine? I did 10...but I hear more is better with that stuff..

If you eat red meat- you need less, if you don't you need more creatine in general. If you use super supps you can take more (20g), if you don't (or aren't on) use less (5g or <).
