Hi there,

New to this forum. Could someone tell me if Albumin Human 25% USP has any bodybuilding benefits? Is it similar to HGH? Is it useful in gaining mass? shedding bodyfat?

We carried Albumin at one time on the Ambulance as a Volume Expander in Trauma Patients because Blood Products were impractible/unavailable in the Field. I believe the Military still uses it.

Sorry, but that is the only instance I've ever seen it used.

Here you go Bro. I Decided to do a little research.

Normal Serum Albumin (Human) NSA
Human albumin is the most prevalent protein found in the plasma component of blood. It is also called albuminate, plasbumin, buminate, albutein and albuminar. Plasma is collected and pooled by domestic fractionators such as Aventis Behring ****oration, Alpha Therapeutic ****oration, Baxter ****oration, and the American Red Cross Organization. These companies use the Cohn fractionation process to separate albumin from plasma. Albumin is prepared as a sterile solution, contains no preservatives and is treated to prevent transmitting viruses. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates its preparation, distribution and use.

When albumin is administered intravenously, it increases total blood volume by drawing fluid from the extravascular tissues. It offers therapeutic advantages in oncotic deficits and shock. Albumin may be useful in treating acute liver failure, burns, hypoproteinemia, adult respiratory distress syndrome, cardiopulmonary bypass, neonatal hemolytic disease, renal dialysis, acute nephrosis, erythrocyte resuspension, acute peritonitis, pancreatitis, mediastinitis and cellulitis. Adverse reactions to albumin are rare.

Albumin is made in different strengths and different sizes. Atlantic Medical Services carries the following sizes. Call 1(800)238-2228 to order:

Normal Serum Albumin (Human)
5% 50 mL Pediatric 25% 20 mL Pediatric
5% 250 mL 25% 50 mL
5% 500 mL 25% 100 mL

Plasma Protein Fraction
5% 250 mL 5% 500 mL

doesnt sound like it has any benefits your looking for..lol
hey maybe it increases erection size. it increases blood volume...lmao

Eat egg whites if you want any benefit from albumin. if you increase serum albumin, you increase the potential for testosterone (and other AAS) to bind it. SHBG is the major test binder, but albumin binds a large amount too.
