Hey bros what's up?! I was referred here by MdTNT and I'm glad he did! Well, my goal is to reach 200lbs or more by May, and I'm 180lbs right now. I need help with a diet. Something not to hard, because time and money are an issue seeing as to how I'm a full-time college student and work alot too. Any info would be helpful thanks...

Going From 180 Pounds to 200 by April is a huge goal bro'
Personally, I'd cut that in half and aim for 190 first.

Good Luck Bro'

Let us know what else you need help with.

Bro, i'm a full time student just like you and cost is always an issue.

carbs: oatmeal, potates, yams, brown rice

protein: chicken, beef, tuna, cottage cheese, eggs

fats: EVOO, hemp oil, PB

and dont forget about veggies. The greener the veggie the better like broccoli, spinach, green beans but in truth there is no such thing as a bad veggie

You can def eat right and be in college. Its not so bad when you buy in bulk and if you brown bag always you will find its easily doable

You can do this Wooody.....Fonz is just like you....he spends his time working two jobs and going to school....you're in TN so i know that you cna go to sav-a-lot or a grocery store like that and get two cans of tuna for a buck....lets get this goin and see you start having some results...

Thanks guys for the diet and warm welcome!!! It's always good to join a message board like this and feel welcome!!! I'm going to print this off and demand my mom to get it since I still live at home when she goes shopping next...Of course I'll give her the $$$ though haha!!! Man, not trying to be a smartass or anything but 180 to 200 is what I'm GOING to accomplish if not I will be close. I bust my ass in the gym. I'm not like some of these young guys you see in the gym just doing light weights fucking around, when I'm there I'm serious and pissed off and work very hard......:)

Oh, another thing, what types of protein do I need, and what about Maltodextin (spelling)? When do I need to take them?

Trust me. I drip sweat all over the iron and scare my girlfriend when I lift. 180 - 200 in a couple months is a big goal.....

I just don't want you to disappoint yourself or think this stuff happens in a couple months. It takes years. Literally years of hard work and sweat to make big gains.

Keep this in mind. The most important thing that is going to determine wether you reach your goals is going to be your diet and rest.

Good Luck Bro'

Whey isolate and or concentrate. Isolate is the faster acting, concentrate the slower. Maltodextrin is a complex carb, dextrose is a simple carb. Mix maltodextrin in with all of your protien shakes during a bulking cycle so that you get enough carbs during the day. Mix malto and dextrose in with your post workout protien shake. Ratio is 1:2 Protien:carbs post workout. I usually put 50-100g protien, 50mg Malto in with my daily protien shakes (almost like a meal replacement but not quite. If you eat 6 meals a day and drink a protien shake in between (for a total of 3-4 shakes per day) you WILL meet your goal, no doubt about it!

I answered this in another thread you started, but I don't think AS is the issue here, but rather your diet.
You will gain water with the muscle, but you may not get that lofty goal you are looking for. As I said, building muscle takes a lot of time and patience. You will need a lot more time than 3 months to build quality muscle.

BUMP, DIET is everything. And yes it is achieveable to gain 10lb in a month exp if your not eating properly and also if you havent been incorporating powermovements into your routine. Also, you may want to consider taking an addtion day off to let your body rest, you grow outside of the gym not in it.

Thank you for the advice and I am listening.

I have been reading other thread on here about diet and I have not been eating enough protein but I guess

I need to eat more calories but it is also in propotion Iam 145 and youguys are 245 so of course your intake is going to be more. I am in a all you can eat situation 3 times per day which includes 1st class quality, appropriate selections of meat, pasta, etc. I need to supplement tuna etc 3 more times. I am also making shakes with eggs etc.

I will start with your suggestions and work on my diet but I have football friends who have put on some good muscle with AS. I am a soccer player and dont need huge gains but I need at least 15 solid lbs in 3-5 months and want to try AS. I dont need builderbuilder size but do need strenght and from everything I have read AS if done right is safe and works. I just need info or sources for info. I just purchased Anobolic 2005 but it is like the more info I get the more confused I am about what to do or where to start. Like the mistake from yesterday. I still dont know where to start will that book by Collins tell me.

Thanks again and sorry again for the big mistake yesterday.

this is my opinion, i know uve heard this lots of times, but its true, ur going to need to get A LOT, u sya u eat a lot now, well eat more, stay full, u can only gain weight that way, eat lots of protein, check out alltheywhey.com and get u a bucket of protien, and the AS situation ur looking at, well ur playing soccer, not football, or bodybuliding compitions, so u dont need like a mass load of muscle, but yea i get where ur coming from about gaining weight and muscle. Heres an opinion, and i know that other members on this board will correct me if im wrong, but instead of going to the AS just yet, why not read that book, get on this website and look through these forums and see what people are asking and what the correct answers are, because you might come in that situation sometimes and need the answer to it, thats what i do, ill come get on this website and look around it for like 2 hours, and ive also read 2 books about all this stuff, u wanna me very knowlegable before you get into this stuff, if u start it now, u could possible now get any taller and shoulders not any broader and stuff like that, do ur research on it before you get into it, but here is one suggestion, and guys correct me if u dissagre, not big deal, since your trying to gain weight, and muscle, and every1 is telling you that you need to eat more, get some b-12, do alil research on it, and you could possible try it out, its an injectable, and it increases your energy and increases your appite so you could eat more with it and gain more weight, its a decent solution compared to hitting up the AS at your age, but thats "my opinion". You could do that and get some protien shakes, maybe some creatine, and just eat liek crazy, but hit me back and let me know what ya think, and if ya have ANY questions just start a new forum, these guys have answered so many questions of mine, so just try it. Good luck bro

I started creatine a month ago and I think you guys are right about my diet not being enouogh. I thought I was eating but by looking at your diets on other threads it makes my diet look like a snack.

I read on here about B12. How much and how often and when 145 lbs.

Thanks again to everybody.

also what size needles. My grandmother used to get b12 shots so I assume this parnoid government has not made b12 illegal.

Am I allowed to ask where for B12 and needles and size if not just say so.

Actually, you don't even need shots. You can get 500 mcg in pill form from WalMart. It works just as well as injectable B12. To help with appetite, you can either take 500 mcg / day as the directions say or take 1000 mcg every 2-3 days. Diet is probably the MOST overlooked thing when you aren't getting results on or off AAS, and at your age you have enough hormones running through you naturally that you don't need AAS. If you can get the diet down, you can gain a LOT of quality muscle with minimal fat gain without using AAS.
