Question about getting back into cardio

As you may know I've been out for quite some time (6 weeks now) with a shoulder surgery and rehab. Today was the 1st day of phisical theropy.

I've been trying to get back into cardio sooner. 2 weeks ago I started a running class at the local Junior College.

My question is...I'm going balls to the walls in this class, should I be?

For instance, last week we warmed up a mile then did line drills on the football field (goal line to the 5-yard line and back to the goal line, then to the ten and back, then to the 15 and back all the way until you're running goal line to goal line...no breaks at all, it a continues 75% run). Then to finish we did do build-ups on the straights around the track to full sprint and walked the curves. 1 mile cool down.

Is that too much? The reason I ask is because I can't walk down stairs to 3 days following because my knees are so sore.

Or should I just nut-up and do that shit until my knees deal with it?

Most injuries simple take time to heal. You could try using IGF to help speed it up, but ultimately, you sound like you need to ease into it or you could really mess up your knees.

if you are trying to recover from one injured area DO NOT INJURE ANOTHER!!!
break into it easier

cardio will help heal any injury even shoulder increased blood flow is increased blood flow

your best bet would be to do your cardio at a more moderate pace 4-5 times wkly to increase cardiac output and blood flow

do not damage another area of your body to were excessive amounts of your bodies energy is spent repairing it

the idea is to get back to overall training quicker not training just one area quicker

as far as the shoulder goes what did you have done I know a few little tricks and a couple of supps that aid in healing certian injuries

igf is not a bad idea depeding on what you had done to shoulder
