Weight gain at start of cycle

hey bruthas, a "friend" of mine just started a cycle of 500mg nano deca and 600 mg of test e a week. My "friend" also frontloaded with 500mg deca and 600mg for the first shot. Before the first shot "his" weight was 217lbs but a week later "he" was 225lbs. The only thing i can think of is some water being held i just think its odd that with two slow acting esters that a weight gain of 8lbs would happen in one week. Is there any other reason(s) why this might happen? Diet is the same as b4 with 4500-6000 cals a day. Im just curious as to why that amount of weight gain would occur in such a short amount of time with slow acting esters. Thoughts?

I had a similiar experience when starting my current cycle and I actually relized that I started putting weight on before I even took my first injection. The reasons I came up with are a couple of things... placebo effect combined with your friends new supplements have caused him to eat a little better and train a little harder, remember to take all of his vitamins, ancillaries, creatine, glutamine etc. and getting enough rest...

basically I find that while on most people are more disciplined because they want to make sure they're getting the most out of their cycle. The diet you posted could be the difference alone their is a big difference between 4500 and 6000 calories a day. If you're buddy is eating at the higher end for a full week that is certainly going to cause some weight gain...

or forget everything I said and get yourself a new scale

it has been around the higher normally depending on the day, mostly "he" get in about 8 meals a day 3 being from high calorie shakes(1000 cals) in the morning/post workout and b4 bed. The scale is actually the type you would find at a doctors office but "he" makes sure to balance it each time "he" steps on it.
