Dead Lifts

With straight leg deads for hams, I go down to my toes, but I don't come all the way up and I consciously squeeze my glutes on each rep. That ought to recruit the hams for you. Worked for me.

When doing them for back, I don't go all the way down to my toes and I pull my shoulder blades together at the top. I've started doing rack deads for back, though. I think they work a little better.

bump that swolja i do rack pulls for back day and strait legs for hams on leg day i never skip deads i love them they really help me grow on everything and i mean everything. I think it should be a must for everybodys routine works everything from lats to a little bit of calves. On straight legs if your keeping your legs straight you may not get really sore the next day as i hardly ever get sore anymore unless i totally change my routine up. But during your working sets you should def. feel your hams getting very fatigued i for sure do when i get done with them i can barley walk.

after you do a few sets
grave just the bar and bend over with it and let hang for 60 sec
write back on this post after you did it

bump this up anybody think doin deads even though different type twice a week is overkill writing out my new workout and wanted to know what yall thought?

I dont see any reason why it would be overkill as long as there is enough rest in between workouts Gman! I like that idea, I'll add them into my hammy rountine.

i got them in there now hell yeah i cant wait to start it up next week i usually just alternate but now im gonna be hittin both cant wait to feel my back on friday lol. where the fuck you been all week vert?

Sorry bud, this school shit is kicking my ass and i dont get much time. I'm gonna hit you up on the cell later though, pm me your # again, i cant seem to find it for some reason homie.

Bro., old thing we used to do to get things going again - I used to do it with squats
and just started it for bi's - 10 sets of 10. Its old school but do it for a while and
see what happens.

rest-pause, forgot about that shit (dam, I've turned into a lightweight) what the
hell is a widow-maker? Another thing I do sometimes is on the last set,at failure,
drop the weight a little and go to failure, keep doing that until your down to nothing
and just flex and squeeze for last set. Hell of a pump/burn.

thats what a widow maker is
its a set you have to get 20 or until complete failure
rest pause does work as long as you keep increasing your weights
