dbol cycle

was wondering how some of you run your dbol during cycle?
I usually run 4 weeks on 4weeks off then 4weeks on to finish the cycle

thinking of running the full 12 weeks this time but haven't decided yet
the next cycle will look something like this

week 1-12...1.5G of test en.
week 1-12...450mg of fina
week 1-12...600mg of deca

then the dbol is debatable

will do PC-creatine, clomid, IGF-1
 
There comes a point in most BBers lives where they just forget about the dbol.

It was great when I was a newbie and I needed the immediate results because I was impatient. I just find that any gains you get from dbol, wether it be strength or size, all is lost when it's dropped from the cycle.

Though, I will say I've never tried it at the beggining and the end of the cycle.

To advocate for you though, dbol is relatively cheap and you do get noticable results (very quickly). It could be fun to play around with it from time to time, especially if you're coming off a long layoff.

I must point out two important things though. Most importantly, don't rum Tren (fina) and Deca together. You will almost certainly get progesterone-induced gyno and you will shut down HARD and FAST! Go with one or the other. If I may suggest, stick with the tren (fina) because NOTHING compares to it but instead of the Deca, go with an EQ. I think it will give you the results you are looking for (I'd say minimally 600mgs of EQ each week for 12 weeks). The second, you really shouldn't run dbol for more that 8 weeks at a time (you mentioned 12). It's a 17aa with a relatively high hepatoxicity. Not good on the liver, especially since there is no mention of milk thistle of ALA (liver protectants).

great great great post Jay!

I ran dbol for the first 4 weeks, took a month off and did it for the last 4. I wished that I never did that. All I did was bloat and develope the worst case of acne I ever saw. Not worth it, no point. Dbol is pretty much instant grad...thats about it.

agree with these points. the dbol gains are "garbage gains" to me. Too hard to keep. Although I love to try it at like 75-100mg/day that I hear some bros run it at. Too bad I would only be able to eat 1,000calories/day and would waste it all.
 
great posts guys, here is my philosophy on what I was thinking...
I haven't done dbol in over 2 years (like Jay said it's kinda a waste of time for someone advanced) ran anadrol instead
HOWEVER, what I was thinking (work with me here)
was that I could take the dbol, not for the gains but as a way to "stretch" the muscle tissue...lower the weights and up the reps

using volume training to force blood into the muscle (hence Jay Cutler's approach)
the only thing that I get out of the dbol is hellish pumps-when I use to take it I would have to terminate a set due the swell instead of the failure
I have never been subjected to bloat or gyno from anything (guess I'm lucky that way-or maybe it's because I run clomid during my cycle)

as for the deca and fina being ran together, another wierd thing for me-I get great gains when I put the 2 together and keep most of it-tried EQ a couple of times in the past and got nothing off it-ZERO :disgust: for some reason my body doesn't respone well to it

was thinking dbol (50mg/day) for first 4 weeks bridge with creatine then resume dbol for the last 4 weeks...another weird thing about me is creatine will increase my appetite better than anything else that I've tried...go figure?

I dont know how well that theory would work. Probably better off using something like Synthol to achieve the actual desired result - true streching of the muscle fascia.

Im the same when it comes to deca, its great but eq is weak. Have you ever CUT with deca? I hate short esters (cause I hate pinning) and if I cut with deca and long estered test, I would avoid so much pinning? But "cutting with deca" is like taboo or something.
 
no never tried it, actually I don't really have a cutting cycle because I'm an ectomorph I stay lean year round
the only time that I actually set out to do a cutting cycle was about 4 years ago for a photo shoot, all I used was test enan. and got great results (got my BF down to about 5%)
and the diet wasn't really that strict
 
I would imagine dbol to be better if you were doing high weight, low reps not low weight, high reps. Mostly because of the incredible pump you mentioned, and also it seems to be a better bulk (high weight, low rep) assistant in terms of what's really achieved (strength and water weight). I guess I came full circle to say the same thing, lol.

What about Var or winny instead?

Or, go for it and see what happens. Like I said, it's cheap and might be fun to play around with.
 
yeah I'm just experimenting with it this time around, I'm not looking to cut because I stay lean year round-235lbs w/ 33 inch waist
I'll keep you posted and let you know the results :thumbsup:
