The legendary Randy Couture, a former UFC light heavyweight and heavyweight champion, has called it quits after an amazing thirteen year career in the cage. Couture was on the fence in recent months about whether he would ever fight again.

Hmm, hadn't heard that but sorry to hear it.

He's had an amazing run I'd say and I'm sure he's got a lot of things to keep him busy. Pretty sure he's got plenty of options!

Randy is a badass, I didnt hear he retired either (well havent heard it in a couple years). He wont stay out of it, he will prolly get another fight in, and he has a gym and camp so he wont be completely out of the game. He is the model for what gh actually does. He is also a scientific mystery, has anyone here seen him on fight science? his lactic acid levels actually go down as he exerts himself instead of up like every other person is supposed to. He's a legend.

Yeah, I can't remember who it was, but I remember an interview with one of the announcers and they said the times he did guest commentary, they had the hardest time getting the earpiece in his ear.

I've been wondering if he'll fight again, but it's been awhile and he's not getting any younger. If he's gonna fight, he better do it soon.
