If Shields wins the belt, he'll consider moving to 185

If Jake Shields beats Georges St-Pierre at UFC 129, it sounds like he does not plan to stay at welterweight for long.
Shields, undefeated in 15 fights, is expected to give GSP his toughest UFC title defence on April 30, and if he wins he would set up a whole new batch of intriguing title match-ups - with Jon Fitch, BJ Penn, Josh Koscheck and Anthony Johnson all in the mix.
However, Shields left Strikeforce as the middleweight champion after beating Dan Henderson, and he admits he would not mind taking a look at Anderson Silva and Co at 185lbs.
"Moving up and down in weight is kind of a pain in the [butt], but it's something I'll probably do again," he told USA Today.
"I'm always looking for challenges, so I'm going to go where the challenge is. If I'm successful at 170 and take that belt, I'll probably start thinking about [it]. I'm in the sport to test myself. "If I start getting bored, I really wouldn't want to be here anymore. So yeah, I would definitely move up."

it'll be a good fight I don't know who to put my money on

This is a fight I would not bet money on lol I think it has a 70% chance of going to the judges, a 25% chance of a sub 4% TKO and 1% KO, but im just a fan

If Shields beats GSP, I'm literally going to cry... lol.

I know GSP is nervous for this one, but I don't think his belt is leaving Montreal yet!

I dont know if he's really nervous, he plays alot of mind games, he says alot of stuff to get into peoples heads, so I look thru what he says, hes trying to make it seem that way so Shields gets over confident, I would bet money on that

My money is on GSP, always will be. The only way I see GSP losing this fight is a lucky punch (e.g. Sera vs. GSP). Shields is an ok fighter, but I personally think he doesn't stand a chance. But I agree with you Metal, I am a fan so I'm hopin for a good fight....that ends with GSP on top haha

I honestly think that he has a good chance of sub-ing gsp

I like Shields in this one, he's a badass, I don't care who he's fought, but he is a tough SOB. I think GSP may really have his hands full on this one, it'll be a great fight either way
