Prize money at the O...

I was just looking through the prize money over the years and in all the years combined that Ronnie won, he totaled $930,000. Phil has won $450,00 in just 2 wins. I guess this is just a change in times, but I think that's kinda crazy to think about. Phil won $200,000 in 2011 and $250,000 last year. I don't know what the prize money looks like this year, but I'm sure it'll be getting bigger and bigger

Damn and that doesn't include endorsements. There is no telling what they make on the side. I would think more than what they win.

Most of the winnings probably goes to their "supplements," lol. Endorsements pay a lot though so most of these guys who win certainly aren't hurting for money.

and to think the crossfit games winner gets 250k and its only been out for like 3 years.

I'm sure their endorsement deals can reach a million for the bigger guys if not more, but I'm sure they spend a great deal on gear so it is hard to tell at the end of the deal what they actually pocket. Then again most of theae guys probably have paid doctors to prescribed them what they need so insurance may cover some of the bill

yes, but I am sure insuarance doesn't cover tren, eq, etc....

they're getting Kornholed

It's seems so low for how much work and dedication one has to put into the sport, as opposed to say an NFL player or NBA guy.

I totally agree. Not to mention you end up putting your body through way worse conditions year in and year out via dieting, drugs
