Wow I'm sore!!!!

Well long story short, had to take another lay off due to an injury and a 4 month time frame ended up turning into over a year, too many things going on injuries, family reasons etc. Well I am finally getting back into shape and hitting the weights again. I have been getting into it really slow and two nights ago I finally went pretty hard, I tore my back and shoulders apart. Yesterday I was ehhh a little sore felt great today, OMG I will never take this much downtime again unless I absolutely have to, I am so sore i cant lift my arms above my head. I remember when no matter what I did my back would not get sore, I feel like not moving for two days. I'm still gonna go do some cardio tonight maybe some calf work, but definitely going to give my upper a couple days to relax.
 
Lol! I have made enough "starts" over the years that didn't last where I went at it too hard too fast... The last time, which was probably 6 years ago I started so slow and easy it felt like I was hardly doing anything at first. But steady as she goes, it comes back pretty quick!

thats awesome though bro! i love that kind of soreness, well maybe not that bad, lol, but a good deep sore !

No doubt bro, I still havent gone too heavy just some high reps to failure for the first time with a little more weight. It is starting to ease away finally.... Working legs today giving the upper body another day to grow and rest.

It was a pretty bad soreness, but im sick like you Presser I kinda had a grin on my face when I would hurt just knowing that my body was finally growing again and on the right track.
 
Yeah hitting the weights hard after time off is fun! Until the next day! Haha

mine is always the 2nd day, the next day im like man just a little sore, im ready to hit it again, then the day after that boom feels like I got the shit beat out of me by a 18 wheeler.
 
True! 48 hours is when the real soreness hits! As you wake up to get out of bed like a 125 year old man. haha
 
No doubt about that one, feels like the brick wall caved in and fell on you while in bed. I'm all good to go now though, busting out some chest tonight.
 
Ahhhhh, that soreness the day or 2 after great training session. That's the best feeling. Well really more like 8th best but you get the point. That's still pretty high up there considering all the possible feelings one can have
