IGF-LR3 and stomach distention?

I've been taking MC LR3 for 3 weeks now and it seems to be going very well. Many people say it gets better the longer you use it. I would certainly like to continue using it, however, I am curious about long term effects on stomach distention. Pro BBers clearly suffer from it a lot and personally it seems like one of those things that may need to be accepted if you choose to go pro. That said, for the avid lifter who does it as much for a hobby and to look good but no desire to go pro, the side effects may not be worth it, if distention is something one must contend with. Are there any good studies I could read up on, or any real world experiences that could guide me in this?
obviously this site is full of LR3 users and I'd love to hear your experiences.
Thank you,

This question/subject comes up quite a lot brother. The increased stomach size that you are referring to is mainly associated with large doses of HGH. The saying is that its from Intestinal overgrowth. This is not something associated with IGF use. I'll try and dig up some info on this for you or pull some old threads here cause I know this has been discussed and discredited over and over here.

Presser himself will tell you he has used it for years with none of these issues. And, there are a lot of guys here that's been using large doses for years as well.

IGF gets lumped into the category with HGH on several things, but this is not a valid association. Another side effect of HGH is swollen hands and fingers which I have never experienced on IGF, but have noticed those side effects with GHRP. Just an example of guilty by association... lol

Here is a quote I found buddy:

"Organ growth is not a side effect associated with anabolic steroids from the years of research reviewed by the AMA. Anabolism in contractile muscle tissue has been well documented in clinical trials with various anabolic steroids however no study including those examining superphysiolgical levels of steroid administration have ever documented organ growth as a side effect.

There is no medical link between HGH use and intestinal growth, in fact "HGH gut" does not exist in medical literate. HGH can worsen pre-existing acromegaly via IGF-1 stimulation. Acromegaly is a result of a genetic defect which causes the body not to form the proper defense mechanisms to IGF-1. Individuals with acromegaly commonly suffer from enlarged organs however normal people cannot get acromegaly from HGH. Acromegaly is a disease not a side effect."

Hope that helps,
Austin

Thanks Austin. I'll have to do some more research. Although it clearly states HGH is not the cause, there is clearly something that pro BBers take whih causes it. They don't all conveniently have the same disease. Something they take causes it and although LR3 may not be the culprit, some over exogenous supplement most likely is.
Glad to hear LR3 doesn't seem to be it though. Time to do more reading. I'll check the threads on here a little more as well.

I personally think it can make me look a little distended not a whole lot but the abbs just poke out like crazy. But that could be partly bloat from diet. Another thing is that when I cam off the abbs weren't as pronounced and the distention look did go away. But everyones different. Do I love the stuff, that would be a yes. Would I use MC igf again, hell yeah.

IGF also causes site enhancement where you use it. And, you were using it in your abs for that reason. Clearly, not the question here. A distended stomach and more pronounced "popping" abs are different things brother. The reference here is the term HGH GUT or "Roid Gut" some have called it.

When I'm not on my phone I'll be doing some more research. Interesting to see different opinions though and to some degree differing opinions are to be expected as not everyone has the same reactions to supps.

Yup. It would be a very boring world if we all had the same opinion. Goodness and I work together so we're allowed to bitch at each other a little. He was using the IGF in his abs to get em to grow more. Pretty sure that's the distention he's speaking of.

What you're talking about is the "Big" gut all the Pros seem to have which in my honest opinion looks like how Dbol makes you look when your all bloated to hell. I think its more of a Growth of the organs inside the chest and the abdomen (commonly called visceral growth). It shouldn't be surprising to see a bodybuilder with a distended stomach when his colon is actually the size of a Boa Constrictor. LMAO!!!
